Ask CHIPSA if they remember Kaoy Saechao!  They took over $33,000 from her, and then told her she…read morewould have to go back home after 3 days there, BUT promised to refund her $19,641.  This was in November 2019.  Kaoy died on January 5th, 2020.  She has a son who needs this money.  CHIPSA paid back $5,000 in July 2020, and $4,500 in October 2020.  And that was due to me chasing them for payback.  The employee who I was dealing with has left, and they ignore any requests.  They still owe Kaoy $10,141.53.  This is going to be paid back and this scam will be exposed.  They have the money, but they do not think anything can be done because Kaoy was from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.  They are wrong!  And Doctors in Canada say CHIPSA was negligent and not trained well, because the medicals we sent them clearly showed she was too far along to be cured. NOW IT'S JUNE 1, 2021 Well......Kaoy Saechao (and her son) is STILL waiting for the balance of the money owed to her, even though she passed away on January 5th, 2020. Her son requires the balance of the refund to help support himself. He was with her during her very short stay at CHIPSA. 18 months have gone by and he is STILL waiting for the balance of his refund!

They love him bc US medical system overall takes their time in testing, mis-diagnosing due to not paying attention enough, etc. I needed medical attention and medical results ASAP so I took their recommendation and went to him. The hospital he is in is super clean and I was laughing bc one observation was that no matter where you go within the hospital it smells so nice. It's not the usual sterile smell you smell in a hospital, it's a relaxing scent. Mind you, if you come here, it's an all-day event. This hospital and Dr are very detailed and will want to get to the root of your problem that same day, so blood work, scanning of some sort and even surgery can happen that day, depending on what is diagnosed. They don't mess around in finding and fixing so brace yourself with the same mindset when going in. . If they can't fix same-day, they'll get you to the right direction to do that. - Dr. Virgen was so personable and positive and definitely in the details. He made a person like me who hates going anywhere medical, at ease and calm. He listens and is incredibly knowledgeable. He takes time to thoroughly go over the results of each test. Mind you, they do tests that while it's targeting the direct need, they also detect other things going on in your body. What I love is that he doesn't just give the issues but he educates you on the item and goes through a precise resolution plan for each. You walk out at the end of the day knowing the pain points, if there's anything else you need to be aware of, your treatments plan and your meds. Things to know for non-fluent Spanish speakers: This is in Mexico but even a person like me, who can speak day-to-day common Spanish but doesn't know how to speak medical terms in Spanish, most staff know at least some English, some fluent and can switch whatever machinery to English instructions if CT Scans, etc. Dr. Virgen is not fluent in English but did very well in his English and I spoke what I knew in Spanish. I wouldn't recommend coming here if you don't know at least some Spanish only bc if that's the case, there may be a struggle only bc all forms are in Spanish and not everyone that works there knows English so if they ask questions or you have any, there may be gaps in communication. I highly recommend here and Dr Virgen. It's nice to know that some of his family members work here too. I know I'll be back here on a regular basis

Within the three months I had a pet scan in San Diego and there was no cancer activity. I had another pet scan ordered by my oncologist in California 3 months later to confirm and no cancer activity. I thank God he put that hospital in my path. It's been almost 2 years I feel great and full of gratitude. I know I have to do my part to stay healthy and this hospital also educates how to eat well, to reduce stress, to rest, etc... The Dr was amazing, Food was great as well and all the people employed there were very kind and compassionate.

The MD had horrible bedside manner. They make you wait outside locked fence for 15 minutes I'm sure they CAN cure cancer in 3 weeks, but so does ITC with incredibly friendly people. I could not bring myself to consider Oasis of Hope. I am now an outpatient at ITC and the people are even friendlier than ever. ITC has many more modalities of treatment for whatever that's worth. I say JUST MAINLINE THAT B17! And may big Parma and FTC go straight to hell where they came from.

She came into the room without properly greeting us or asking for consent with the AI recorder. She was very strict and commanding to my son. Because she was impatient and my son was hyper she immediately said he needs to be evaluated for autism. She met my son for 5 minutes and she believes he's autistic. My son is 2 years old we waited for over an hour to be seen because of registration how did she expect him to act? Quiet? Calm? I have 3 children and was told she only allows 2 children at the visits. How rude and assertive she is she doesn't not need to be in the profession of caring for children! My reason was to [hopefully] have them complete my CA EDD Disability 2501 Part B paperwork and a County of San Diego Disability Form. Instead of turn me away, the staff allowed me to see Dr. Brianna Martinez, whom took the time to complete the government forms I needed completed by a Doctor, proving my severe disabilities. My compliments concern two things they did right, 1st) instead of turning me away and calendaring a doctor's appointment, San Ysidro Health worked me into the schedule and allowed me to see a Doctor the same day without appointment. And 2nd) Dr. Brianna Martinez proceeded to take the time and effort to complete the government paperwork I needed to be completed by a Doctor. I know that people often forget to compliment when others go above and beyond and/or do a spectacular job, and instead only complain when others fail to meet expectations. In this case, I want to be sure to take the time to express my gratitude and publically compliment both Dr. Martinez and San Ysidro Health for each helping me and meeting my needs.
