I can only rate their kids programs…read more BACKGROUND - People argue that their discipline is better than another like - Karate is better than Tae Kwon Do etc... If someone invested 2 or 3 years in a system I'm betting they won't think it was a bad choice. They will defend their choice to the end - bitter or not. However, most people don't stick with it long enough to really learn the skills and values they are trying to teach you. So how do you choose? The teacher and the schools personality. You need to find a personality that matches your objectives. We have all seen the Karate Kid movie where the school was very aggressive and taught winning was everything - a classic example of a bad school - IMHO. THE SCHOOL - Dave is the owner and is very personable. He is well rounded and makes sure the classes are hard & fun. The kids are challenged - sometimes pushed to their limits. This is a good thing - it teaches them that they are capable of more than they think. It also teaches them that if they can't succeed the 1st time to keep trying and they can make the grade. It's never about beating someone else but pushing yourself and learning your limits. Kids ages 8 to 12 are offered 2 classes - Thai Kick Boxing and Ju Jit Su. 2/3s of each class is spent on exercises and 1/3 learning new skills. They build a solid base in strength, endurance, speed and coordination etc. When they are ready they are moved to the next level for more work and more skills.

Sifu Dave and his team offer several martial arts and self defense training, including one-on-one, for all age groups. Their knowledge, as well as their experiences, provide students with the skills they need to build confidence and learn true self defense. I highly recommend stopping by and seeing for yourself why EMA has been a fixture in the community for almost 20 years! You won't be disappointed!

My son James just turned 15 years old. We had a nice birthday party for him but he has no friends…read moreso he had no fun. The other kids at school often bully him because he doesn't know how to defend himself. When James told me this, I knew I had to do something. Thankfully, I remembered that we had one of the best MMA dojos in the world right here - Victors MMA!!! I brought James to his first day of MMA 6 weeks ago Saturday. He didn't want me to leave but I had a meeting with my associates so I left him there for his one and a half hour session. When I came back, I was shocked at how happy James was. He was sweating furiously and having fun while fighting his peers. In the car he was so hungry that he ate both of the cereal bars that his mom packed for him! Nice! Since then, James is always so excited to go to MMA every weekend. He has become so much more social and every week I have to pack him more snacks because he's so hungry. Last week, he finally decided that he wanted to enter into a karate tournament using his new skills. We allowed him to go to one on Saturday, and James had a blast. He used so much energy that he fell asleep in the car ride home. That must have been from all of the times that he got slammed down onto the mat. He keeps complaining that his neck is broken, and hasn't gotten off the couch. But I'm sure hes being dramatic, and anyway the hospital is too expensive. But overall, Victors MMa has changed James for the better.

My son, daughter and I take classes here. We absolutely love the atmosphere and people. We have…read morelearned so much from Victor and the other instructor. I would recommend Victor's to anyone.
