She initially informed me that the session would cost £120 and that I would need to have a test patch which would cost £45. I stated that I couldn't really afford that and queried whether I would need a test patch as I had already had a few sessions with the same laser elsewhere. She said she would check, returned and said yes the fee for the test could be waived. I attended for my appointment today on this basis. A lady called Jenny was really nice to me and took me through all the details of tattoo removal for some time and was about to start the session when she snuck in that I was just having the test patch today and that I would need to pay for it separately to the £120. I assumed that she hadn't been informed of the agreement and explained it to her. She stated that it couldn't go ahead on those terms. I explained that I had come in to Liverpool on that basis, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered and she tried to manipulate me into either making a block booking or paying for the test patch as well. I explained that I had no objections to a test should the law require it but that It had been agreed that I wouldn't be paying for it. I left at this point and spoke with another lady and the male receptionist and was given my deposit money back. The whole thing was so scheming and underhand; the idea being to make you feel very comfortable and be just about to have the treatment so you feel obliged to go, "oh go on then, I'll have to now I've come this far". I'd taken the day off work for this treatment. This behaviour needs flagging up all over the place. Avoid.

Whilst waiting for the bus to the airport, I lost my front tooth. I have dental implants on all front teeth, so with one missing I could easily dress up as a bad ass hooligan. Weirdly enough I wasn't too keen on that. It looked so bad I was actually not sure if I wanted to go or not, but I decided to go. After all it was a much needed holiday. When I arrived at the hostel, I spent a couple of hours trying to get a hold of a dentist. I asked in the reception at Hatters hostel (another story, another review), and one of the guys had a dentist at Rodney Street. He couldn't find it on the internet though, so we went for this one instead, a completely random decision I am very happy I made. The woman who picked up the phone at the dentist office was the sweetest ever, and she even called back when the kind of rude receptionist at the hostel hung up on her because he thought he had found a better deal. I got an appointment the very same day, and the dentist fixed my tooth in less than half an hour. She was sweet, considerate, and very understanding. Possibly the best dentist I've ever been to!!! She did a great job, and I would more than recommend this place!

I love the orange, silver and turquoise blue - very swish. They also have a blog....this is definately a special dentist! A few special offers are available including 'Whitening Wednesday' - on Wednesday's all whitening treatments are half price. If you are a bit like me and like to know who your dentist will be before they start drilling your mouth - this is ok. Ollie and Darsh offer a free consultation where you can discuss your teeth problems and get to know them a little. They were very flexible with me and gave me an early appointment. They specialise in cosmetics, but you can come here if you have the cash and just need an emergency filling. They offer a number of specialist cosmetic dentistry services including invisible braces, Botox, lip enhancement, fillers, teeth whitening, dental implants, white fillings, veneers, bridges, porcelains, crowns and dentures. They are open for the public to go on for a chat and a consultation, and I can imagine that they are quite pricey, as most cosmetic dentists are in the UK. They have four full time qualified cosmetic dentists working for the company, so you're bound to be able to get an appointment fairly quickly. But if you're in no rush and you want to save money on your veneers or crowns and get a holiday too, look at private dentists in countries such as Poland, you'll save a fortune for the same treatment!

They say that if you're repeatedly late or miss appointments, they will refuse to see you - fortunately this hasn't happened to me yet! Along with your typical annual dental check up, the practice also offers private dental care including tooth whitening and metal-free crowns.They have their own care plan so you can attempt to afford the extortionate prices - no more than any other dentist, but still not cheap by any means!

It is a private practice although has a small budget for NHS patients but not all treatments may be available. They practice has six surgeries with five dentists and two hygenists.
