I have had the pleasure of using them 2 times in the last 6 months. They are punctual, pleasant and reasonably priced. At no point did I hear complaints about the 2 trucks that came to my apartment and emptied it, then followed me to my storage unit and emptied it, and then went to my new house and unloaded both trucks. It took 2 hours for all this to take place. That's incredible!! They never stopped smiling as they carried half of my family's belongings down stairs. They impressed me so much that I will only use A Helping Hand. From the big boss Alfredo, down to the smallest person on his crew, I consider them family.

Our house sold before we had a place to move into, and it was going to be several months, so we hired Kearney Moving to pack up our household items and help us move them to a storage locker. It totally baffles me that the company can't even find records of the job, as we paid them several thousand dollars to just pack and move us to a locker. I believe they were at our house for two days. So I'm sorry, I can't remove my comment. If you would like copies of the receipts, I may be able to get copies to you. If I could rate 1/2 star or less I would. These people were terrible. We hired them to help us pack and then transport our belongings to a storage locker since our house sold before we could move to the new one. They charged us an arm and a leg, and totally beat up our belongings. They threw power tools into a box without even wrapping them or trying to protect them. My stereo speaker looked like they had dragged it behind the truck. The top of our electric heater that looks like a wood stove was scratched terribly. A new shop lamp was crunched up. They said they would take care of our things but they definitely did not. And they didn't even have to carry our things any more than 10 miles.

They were scheduled to arrive between 8-9am on Sunday, June 8th and never showed up. She tried calling their office at 9:15am but it was closed, and voice mail was full so she couldn't leave a message. A manager finally called later in the morning to let her know they were having staffing issues and were canceling her move, leaving her stranded and alone on moving day with no one to help her move from Lincoln to Omaha. Worse yet, they said they were "booked solid for the next week" and made no attempt to help her find alternatives or reschedule at a time that fit her schedule. Let's be clear, completely ghosting a customer on moving day is the most unforgivable sin in the moving business. Don't ever let this happen to you, avoid Black Belt Movers at all costs!
