Said he had to get in touch with tech. help. I called a couple of days later to see what was up. He told me he had other customers and appointments. I got hold of Kens in Gi told them the story . When I scheduled the repair visit - I got a txt message that it would be a week and a half later than scheduled before they could come. I spoke with Rick and told him the ice maker was making a grinding sound every 15 minutes, he then advised me to remove the ice maker until he could make it over as it was only 2 screws and a wire harness to unplug. When I went to remove the old ice maker - the plug fell out as if it was never fully seated. I explained that to Rick on another phone call. I then asked if it is such an easy removal, would it make sense to install the new one myself and save him a trip - he said sure. I did as advised but the new ice maker did not work. I had to wait 3 weeks for another appointment before he could come and look at it due to both of our schedules. Once he finally made it, he saw the clip that holds the wire harness was damaged and decided that I must have broken it - and reported to the warranty company that "a non-authorized repairman attempted to make repairs on their own" and made no mention that I removed the ice maker at his advice. I'm now waiting for the extended warranty company to make this right since Rick doesn't want to take responsibility for his advice and direction. Find another appliance company with integrity, because Pro Mobile has none.
