What I really liked was that no one at this facility read the riot act as they were walking us thru the process, which is what my experience with a LOT of boat rental places is... everything was done in a very relaxed manner and everything was explained very nicely We really enjoyed the 4 hour boat ride and did a loop around Waldron Island. Our boat died in the water after about three hours. Nate, Chris and Natalie were there within 15 minutes and helped us get back. They are all SUCH KIND and NICE people, they took care of the issue immediately, put us on a new boat and brought us back meanwhile towed the other boat. Only negatives are the web site is out of date and they don't actually rent everything that's currently advertised. It's not an especially inexpensive way to spend a day (depending on your personal situation) but is a memorable, scenic experience. Not recommended if you don't have some boating skills, there are some shallow spots, rocks and tidal conditions to be aware of that could turn a fun day sour - but this isn't their fault of course. Overall a very good & fun experience that also felt safe. Seeing the islands from the water and not just from the ferry route is great!

Their voicemail basically says go to their website, kind of hard when it redirects to spam. So, I try on my phone and again, was redirected to some spam (see picture). A bit disappointed in the overall struggle to even try to get a reservation. I would strongly suggest that your processes and website issues be addressed as you are likely losing a lot of business to website redirecting and inconsistencies. Then the sheriff checked the safety equipment, and found it had no fire extinguisher. The sheriff talked about giving ME a ticket, because I hadnt checked the safety equipment adequately. So the owner said she would refund my ride cost. Instead, she put through TWO charges for the ride, and won't return my phone calls. I'm not happy -at all! I will skip these guys next time.

Federico took us to several beautiful spots around the bay, including one where we spotted seals lounging and even a bald eagle perched nearby. Later, we were lucky enough to see a sea lion surface right beside us - such a cool moment! We happened to be the only two on the tour, which made the experience feel even more special. Federico was a fantastic guide - knowledgeable, attentive, and easygoing, with a great sense of humor. He kept a comfortable pace throughout and made sure we felt warm, safe, and supported the entire time. Peaceful water (well, we were lucky for that!), incredible wildlife, and a guide who really cares - what more could you ask for? The boats we were in were high quality and the shop is top tier. The people who work at this organization are extremely skilled kayakers who are dedicated to helping the kayak community. The shop has kayak skills courses as well and is dedicated to promoting excellent kayaking. If you're considering a kayak tour in the area or upping your kayak skills, I can't recommend Ocean River Sports enough.

We ended up doing a two hour rental with a tandem kayak from Ocean River Adventures. Getting there was a short ten minute walk from our hotel. The entire rental process was very quick and easy and their rental equipment is very good. It was a good value for the equipment and time we got to use the kayak. The kayak tracked beautifully in the water and we had a wonderful time cruising around the harbor for a couple hours. We even had a seal that popped its head out of the water about 20 feet in front of us! Lee (I believe he is the owner) and Wesley were a delight to deal with. I would highly recommend this company.

We are very luck in the Seattle area to have NWOC! I just learned about a Meetup group that does a monthly paddle from NWOC combined with having Swedish pancakes at the nearby (about 4 blocks away) Swedish center. Apparently this happens the first Sunday of each month. Several of us from PTCC plan to try that out.

So if you come back in 1 hour and 15 minutes, you get charged for that exact time vs. 2 hours. Staff was friendly and helpful with getting people onto the kayaks/boards safely with life jackets and instructions on how to paddle. I think one extra tip that would be good to know is just pointers on how to find the entrance when we come back since we did get a bit lost, the lake is huge! There are also cubbies to store your personal belongings and changing rooms/restroom. Overall I would recommend and come back.

I go online to order my winterizing parts for next year and only get $2.46 discount on a $165 order. None of the items show as on sale (a reasonable caveat of their 20% discount). I call the store and am told that the discount also does not apply to items that are already at their lowest possible price so my items must be in that category, although he admittedly is just guessing. Very misleading "sale"!!! So check your cart carefully before completing your purchases! Hi Paul - thanks for the quick response. I think you are missing my point and perhaps I wasn't clear enough. I am fine with this discount not applying to already discounted items and I understood that prior to attempting my purchase. Where I have an issue is where you refuse to apply the discount to items that are not marked as already discounted. That is misleading and in my opinion a very poor business practice.
