We used Gold Hammer for a custom home in Anacortes and every step of the way we felt that Nik and the crew were there for us. He had great input and his craftsmanship was amazing. If you are lucky enough to use them you will not be disappointed.

PSE recommended A&Z to us to get our condo insulation taken care of and they are one of the…read moregreatest contractors we've ever worked with (maybe even the best)! They took such great care of us, start to finish. We've never had insulation work done before and didn't know what to expect. They held our hand through the entire process, showing us examples of what to expect, clearly communicating every step, explaining they don't paint the plugs but we can either paint them ourselves or hire painters (and they provided professional painter recommendations), etc. We felt so held the entire process. Ashley is so prompt in responding to any calls or messages. Ashley & Zach initially came out to take measurements for a quote, and answer any and all questions I had. The pricing was great, and they took care of filing all the paperwork for the PSE rebates. When it was time to do the work, the whole crew was fantastic! They worked efficiently, and kept the area very tidy, laying down plastic and cleaning as they went. We were so impressed by them!!! They insulated the walls and put insulation under the buildings, in our crawl spaces & also air sealed and wrapped all of the pipes! Once the project was done, Ashely let us know they had overestimated the amount of material they were going to need and actually send us a refund check because they didn't end up using all of the materials we were charged for! Talk about honesty and integrity!!! And finally, months after the project was completed, we discovered an additional spot that needed insulation (not because they made a mistake, but because our building is super unique). I reached out to Ashley & she sent her guys out THE NEXT DAY to take care of it :-) I can't say enough wonderful things about A&Z!!! (Photos included are of the crawl space insulation)

Ashley and Zack were professional, knowledgeable, kind, and responsive and their crew were incredibly hard working, skilled, punctual, efficient, professional, tidy, helpful, and great people. Ashely was always available for questions, she was so fast sending emails, and they process the PSE rebates so we didn't have to! We were so amazed and thankful with how great the price was! Our building was built in the 70's and had zero insulation. After the crew insulated our walls, it has made a world of difference! Our home feels more secure and cozy, like it's giving us a warm hug :-) It is also so much quieter! We don't hear outside noise anymore, it's wild! If you're needing work done and looking for someone to help you, look no further than A & Z!! The entire team went above and beyond for us and we are so thankful

John was able to perfectly match the wood so that no one could ever tell the stairs were made after the fact. Impeccable attention to detail. I have already recommended him to others in our development and will continue to do so.

So it's pretty easy to review a business and give it 5 stars when everything goes right. But what…read morehappens when something goes wrong? It's all about how the business handles it. So we had a smallish remodel project in our garage that involved adding a partition wall, finishing out drywall and painting. The construction part of it was fine in general. When we got to the drywall part, and it was "finished" we had a fairly serious flaw / defect that made the entire project unsatisfactory. Talking with Justin at Puget Services, we was very responsive and just about as upset as we were over the problem. Together, we were able to come up with a solution that did not cost them a whole lot of money to re-do, and fully met our needs and expectations. In the end, the project came out stunning. And just a word about the team. The people that work for this company are the nicest, most professional "handy-men" that I have ever dealt with. So it is great when a company does everything right every time, but when you have an issue, and they can fix it and keep everyone happy, AND get a great review and a repeat customer, that is something great.

This guy IS not licensed or bonded. LNI HAS SUSPENDED HIS LICENSE (proof attached). I filed my…read morecomplaint with lni today for illegal work. They DID NOT clean up and didn't tell us that clean up wasn't included until they were already half way into the project. The fence looks awful. We asked them to use the old wood but we didn't ask them to leave it a mess and built it uneven. They didn't fill each concrete block's hole with concrete like they said, they just left it with gravel that is going everywhere now and are claiming that we never asked them to fill it with concrete. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. He won't respond to your messages while he working so he can later say that there's nothing in writing. What a waste. He left when I wasn't there because my parents don't speak English. I paid him when it was dark and he knew that I lived an hour away so I didn't see it in the daylight until a week later. I only paid him because he said he needed the money so I drove an hour to my parents house and looked at the work in the dark. Now when I text he just sends thumbs up and snarky comments. He can laugh in small claims court.
