We made little tweaks to bring down the cost on some of the candle options, and that was really all I had to review! Of course it's cheaper to get someone just to do ad-hoc arrangements for you and then DIY everything else, but I am SO GLAD I wasn't responsible for setting that up and collecting it all at the end of the evening. It would've made my wedding day 1,000 times more stressful. Milan Event handled transporting our flowers everywhere they needed to go during the day and then picked up the decor after the reception, and it was worth every penny. The arrangements themselves were GORGEOUS and included a more expensive variety of flower than I had anticipated, which was a nice surprise and rare for the wedding industry. When the Milan Event folks showed up the day-of to my bridal suite with the flowers, they were even more beautiful than had I imagined. The great thing about my business, is that we have assembled great resources, built incredible relationships, and constantly expand our capabilites and recommended vendors/venues. Even after telling them what I do as a business, this company has proved to be one of the least professional companies I have experienced in many years. Ironically I came to them for my own wedding plans as I actually like a small space called The Cove located at the The Seaquarium. THis is an open space with no amenities, and basically a blank canvas which I considered due to my resources. Outside of being in the industry, I do expect a certain level of attention and want to do business with people who actually provide the customer service that they charge and arm and a leg for. Outside of coming back with cost of the space over $1500 than originally stated, I got no return phone calls for weeks at a time, and when they did it was with the attitude of my boss says no, we cant offer you that any more, and we forgot that we must charge for something else. Dont you know what the costs are as an "exclusive" vendor???? I never received a formal proposal, never met the owner/decision maker to-date who hides behind her help and never had the decency of introducing herself to me (her assistant was actually a nice guy and seemed embarrased over the whole thing), and obviously they have no interest in my event business moving forward which is substantial. Unfortunatley, many great venues are tying themselves up with these"exclusive" vendors that can either make you or break you. Consider this one "broken"! I am concerned the Seaquarium made a big mistake with this choice. My take on this...dont be in the customer service industry if you cant provide professional customer service! What a waste of time!!!!

I could spend hours discussing how disappointing Michelle Bell and her fraudulent company are, but I'll start with this: Michelle Bell ruined my wedding day. She is a scam artist who has clearly done this multiple times and takes advantage of brides. Just take a look at the numerous Instagram pages and websites she has. Here are just a few of the things that went wrong at my wedding: - My ceremony was delayed - My MOTHER (the mother of the bride) set up the majority of the wedding even though Michelle was paid to do this with her "staff" - Dinner was served an HOUR AND A HALF LATE because she mislabeled all the tables. Where was Michelle you might ask? Eating her dinner with her staff while all of my guests starved. - Our DJ and photographer were not able to do their jobs because of Michelle's inability to be a wedding planner - My husband and I ended up cleaning up after her because she left the room a mess - She stole all of our flower arrangements after the wedding - Pocketed most of the money that we paid her - Lost my mother in law's prescription glasses - Caused unfathomable emotional damage for my entire family. Michelle Bell is solely responsible for ruining the most special day of my life and I would advise any bride to stay far away from her. She will also tell you she is a florist but my bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets all fell apart within minutes. Furthermore, she will claim she worked at the Biltmore in Miami but she in fact did not. I have received confirmation of this from the Biltmore themselves. Michelle is a disgraceful human being and a scam artist. Stay far away from her.

She was always quick to respond to our email questions and reviewed all of the details with us over the phone a few weeks before the wedding. Booking a destination wedding sight unseen can be like taking a leap of faith, and soon after talking to Ivanka, we realized we couldn't have been in better hands. We were not expecting to be able to choose as many things about the ceremony as we did--we had an afternoon beach wedding followed by a 3 hour sunset sail reception (highly recommend adding the extra hour for the sunset sail) for 19 people including ourselves-- and we were able to select from choices for the decorations, flowers, music (we had a steel drummer who was also our DJ on the boat, DJ El Capitan,--he was fantastic!), vows, and cake. Ivanka provided us with information on how to obtain our marriage license, recommendations for transportation (we used Old Town Trolley Tours), hair, makeup, and wedding insurance along the way. Any questions we had, she had answers to. Ivanka served as both our wedding coordinator and photographer - we cannot say enough about how amazing she is. Our day went seamlessly, our family and friends had a fantastic time, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We received our beautiful pictures in only 2 weeks! The boat crew was also fantastic--they were so accommodating for all of our guests. Ivanka encouraged us to add on additional sandwiches to the food on the boat and we were so glad that we did--the appetizers would definitely be considered "light" appetizers, even for our smaller group, so the sandwiches were a must. If you opt for the sunset sail (highly recommended), just have reasonable expectations about the food - this is not going to be a sit-down dinner, but with appropriate expectations you will be pleased. After we returned from our sail, we went with our guests to the Waterfront Brewery for drinks and appetizers/food and this was a really great complement to what was available on the boat. Overall, our wedding was a perfect day for us. While we were able to have input into almost everything, I strongly encourage you to trust the process and to trust Ivanka. If you are looking to have an intimate ceremony without the stress and pressure of coordinating venues and vendors, then I couldn't recommend this enough!
