I had the veggie haggis on a roll, which was delicious, although I must confess to not knowing anything about what real haggis would taste like. My husband is in the same boat on not having tried the traditional haggis, but also liked the veggie haggis. The veggie haggis is vegetarian and, if the butter sauce is omitted, it appears that it can be made vegan (butter sauce is egg-free). The porridge appears to be vegan by default, and the soup of the day for today sounded like it was also vegan or at least vegetarian (vegetables and coconut).
The burgers and rolls are meant to be eaten there, and are handed to you partially wrapped in a napkin and a small paper bag that you could open and put the burger in if you needed to transport it, but it is just paper and the grease/oil would eventually make it's way through. They have wooden disposable utensils as well.
Great food truck, and a nice place to stop for a view and a bite :) Thank you for having vegetarian options!
