My boat has been in and out of a number of North Bay yards over the past 30 years, and Bay Marine is the one I trust. Each item in their work orders is either a fixed price or an accurate, reasonable estimate that they usually come in under. If additional work is needed they ask for a change order. Jaime keeps me in the loop as they work through issues. I can get at the boat 24/7 if necessary while it's in the yard. I used to get a bottle of wine along with my bill from KKMI, and it was the most expensive wine I ever got. Bay Marine has good communication, prices no higher than they have to be, and an always filled candy dish in the office. Good enough for me.

Very nice Harbor!!…read more Lots of Boats and Yachts docked in the harbor. The paved trail around the harbor is part of the Bay Trail that goes all over the Bay Area. This place is really clean, and on sunny days you can see Brooks Island really well. Easy parking if you drive here, and if/when I get me a Yacht, I'll be rolling through here like a boss!!!

My boat was recently seriously damaged by, I presume, another boater but no one seems to know anything about it. Why are there no cameras? I work for a billion dollar company in the East Bay that has a small fleet of boats that I recently…read moretook responsibility for after taking on a special assignment. Unfortunately the boats weren't in 100% efficient working order and apparently our scheduled maintenance wasn't getting done as well as we had hoped. When our maintenance department started falling behind we decided to look to outside vendors to maintain the boats. Needless to say we couldn't find one to our liking locally. It was then passed onto our planning department to try and find someone who is a "Yamaha authorized dealer" since we use Yamaha motors. Our search brought us to Park Presidio Marine located on the other side of the Bay. Luckily for us, PPM was willing to come over to us and take a look at our boats and come up with a plan to service our boats at our facility. It's now been 8 weeks and 4 visits since we first made contact with PPM and I can't say enough good things our how this is working out. Ryan has been able to get 2 of our boats back up to working order. He listens to my concerns and addresses them quickly. From what I've heard, our planning department is now expecting to try and purchase a 250 HP replacement motor and have them mount it on our twin motored 32 footer. I'll be sure to write up another review about how that goes, but so far we are very satisfied with PPM. Keep doing what your doing Gary and Ryan!

We saw that they opened at 8AM on Saturday so called a little after 7 and left a message about our interest in the boat, by 8:30 we hadn't heard anything and called multiple times to all the numbers listed on their website. After not hearing back we decided to make the 2 hour drive out to the shop since we were serious buyers. Had cash in hand and everything. After viewing their website we thought it was like any other boat shop, instead it ended up being a shack at the dock. We called several times before arriving and not a single call back. After arriving we kept calling still no answer. Finally left, after 20 minutes back on the road the owner calls, we state how unhappy we were to drive all that way and not a single person was there nor did they answer any calls, his excuse was that they don't open until noon. When I pointed out that their website posts 8am and the sign on the door stated 8am he questioned me like he didn't even know what time they opened. How do you own a company, publish your hours and not even know what time you're open? I just hung up on him. A few minutes later his son calls, again stating they don't open until noon, then has the nerve to say we should call first. Well buddy, we did. Both to the landline and the two cell numbers posted on their site! We ask about the boat we saw advertised and he tells us then that it had been sold over a week and a half ago. What kind of business are they running? Post hours they don't know about, won't answer any of their four numbers listed, then leaves a boat sold on not just their site but another site as well? So not professional!!
