Yelp-We need some more stars here for this bicycle shop ******…read moreWe were in the neighborhood when we stopped and looked for the bicycle mirror for our bikes. Mitch, our bike enthusiast and representative of Ramsey Bicycle, helped us with the mirror questions, GAVE us a presta valve adapter for our bike, and was an awesome bike sage. Thank you Mitch! Not only did we get the bike parts we needed, he explained how to install them and offered to do the instillation if we couldn't do it ourselves. Yes, this bike shop is really far from our house, but the service is worth the milage!

Rod's bike shop has been a staple of the central Minnesota cycling community for years. Offering…read morebicycle sales and repair, Roderick keeps himself busy. The relatively small storefront maintains a slew of new and used bikes for sale as well as the mountains of bikes he has awaiting repair. From maintenance on vintage Schwinns, fixies, odd electric shift internal hubs, and modern race bikes, Mr. Niedzielski has the competence to work on everything coming into his shop. His prices are more reasonable than most other shops in town. With him, you also have the consciousness knowing you're supporting local small businesses; rather than the corporate chains (Trek, Scheels, etc). I would highly recommend Rod's bike shop for your next purchase, tune up, or repair.

I have went to their stores in Minneapolis and Minnetonka multiple times where they have me in their system I do my repairs there for my bicycle and for my electric scooter when I get flat. Always done on time and I have never been overcharged there. I even visited the shop in St Cloud which is considered smaller than the rest of the shops and the Twin Cities. I'm very shocked by the level of 1 star views the shop is getting. I'm definitely visiting them today and hopefully I will not change my mind and edit my review.

Great promotion for the once a year summer sale on aventon bikes…read more We were in the market for two bikes so naturally asked if we purchased two if we could get a better deal. Flat no answer. Seemed strange since we were going to spend $4000 on two bikes potentially. Our sales rep was very nice, store manager was not as friendly. Delivery and service was slow and not great customer communication about what was happening and timeline. We only purchased one bike thankfully. I don't know if the other locations are better, but the maple grove store could use some more training to enhance the customer experience. I would not recommend based on my experience but maybe we just had a bad set of circumstances. I found an online direct to consumer brand called L'ectric bike that was $500 cheaper and included all the accessories like fenders, extra battery and storage rack. It is worth to compare.

I have taken my bike here several times over the last few years. Everything from bearing issues, flat tire, simple maintenance and new tires required. Every time I have taken it here I have been impressed with how quick they have been and they have always done everything needed. Including the time that "other" bike place had put on a tube that had far to short a stem for my style of tire...they replaced the tube so I could actually fill my tire easily and gave me a great deal on the replacement tube! Now this last drop-off was a 3-week wait, WWWWhat?? I get it, pandemic...everyone and their dog is biking....means long wait time for a guy that bikes all the time. I am out of town for a few days for work so no big deal. When I get home, weather is good...I am going to call and see if I can get my bike and just put it back in the queue when it's my turn. Bad bearings don't mean I can't ride, right!! Friday AM, one week in, I'm getting ready to call and they call me! Bike is ready, under $100 with all the work they did.
