Rod's bike shop has been a staple of the central Minnesota cycling community for years. Offering…read morebicycle sales and repair, Roderick keeps himself busy. The relatively small storefront maintains a slew of new and used bikes for sale as well as the mountains of bikes he has awaiting repair. From maintenance on vintage Schwinns, fixies, odd electric shift internal hubs, and modern race bikes, Mr. Niedzielski has the competence to work on everything coming into his shop. His prices are more reasonable than most other shops in town. With him, you also have the consciousness knowing you're supporting local small businesses; rather than the corporate chains (Trek, Scheels, etc). I would highly recommend Rod's bike shop for your next purchase, tune up, or repair.

When my wife asked him to describe the bike, he was silent! As she looked over the bike, she discovered a long gash on the frame that he said he was unaware of. When I asked if he would offer an additional discount, he said no, it's already discounted. Since the battery on this model was not removable and that the ebike must be stored at 50F+, we decided against it, and ended up buying a different model that we actually liked better. We would have appreciated if Eddie was more forthcoming with answers as a salesman.

When I called back 2 days later, I spoke with another employee who informed me that they were no longer shipping skis and saving them for sales in their retail store. I live a few hours outside of St. Cloud. I found this entire interaction to be pretty off-putting and don't appreciate the mixed information and "gate-keeping" of winter sports equipment. I feel like I was treated pretty poorly by these folks. Maybe if I was born in a different zip code I could buy some skis this season, eh? Seems fair.
