We drove up to the dealership (about 30 miles) the next morning, test drove the truck and had a deal made by 11am that day. This made our car buying experience a very enjoyable experience. We did have an emissions issue in the first few days of owning the truck. Nick and the crew took care of getting the issue resolved quickly, even arranged for a loaner while our truck was in the shop. I bought a used vehicle, so I understand that issues are entirely possible. What impressed me most is how it was handled so professionally and quickly. Great truck, great service! This is how car buying ought to be. Thanks Monkey Motors!

Two days after my most recent vehicle purchase, I couldn't get my vehicle started and couldn't figure out what was going on (it turned out to be a blown fuse). I called Monkey Motors to let them know what happened and they drove a mechanic out to my house to take a look, had it towed to a shop, and had it fixed and ready for me to pick up the same day. They turned a bad situation into a positive experience and I would buy from them again if the opportunity arises.

Do not recommend! Stay away! Call dealership because we had questions about a car that was listed…read more They answered the question and we scheduled at time to come look at it 3 days later. They knew we were coming from 3 hrs away to buy the car. After looking at the car and getting financed then they told us we couldn't take the car home. Greg (sales manager) told us it was illegal to sell us the car until it had been inspected (which is a lie)! We could do paperwork but couldn't take the car. They would deliver some time the next week. During the inspection they found codes for the radio?? But in reality they were for the O2 sensor they didn't want to fix. Their inspection missed the fact that it had multiple bulbs burnt out, air filter was really dirty, and cabin filter was really dirty. In removing the buyers guide from the side window they wrecked the window tint. In contacting them about these issues they wouldn't respond until multiple messages were sent. Then lied about the check engine light and codes and won't pay for repairs. They paid for a new air filter that's it. Lied and said no pictures were sent of the window tint issues. If you are looking for a dealership who will lie to you go see Greg he will do that with a smile on his face.

The Dealership That Drove Me Away! - How Hyundai of Mankato Lost a 5-time Hyundai Customer…read moreI've leased/owned 5 Hyundais--my first 3 from a different dealer with absolutely no issues. Sadly, my experiences with Hyundai of Mankato have been the complete opposite. Sales ignored my top priority (highway MPG) and pushed a hybrid Tucson that averaged only 24 MPG instead of the advertised 33. I was misled on delivery dates, dismissed when I raised MPG concerns, and later endured a finance process where I was spoken to in a misogynistic tone and had multiple unauthorized hard credit pulls despite signing for one. Service has been equally upsetting: false notes claiming I declined repairs I never refused, vague and alarming follow-up messages days after service, long hold times followed by rude, argumentative reps who interrupted and spoke down to me. Amenities like a shuttle were advertised for years but didn't exist, posted hours were wrong, and roadside guidance after hitting a deer told me to drive to the shop, only to be told they do not do body repair work. Anytime I tried to escalate concerns to management, I rarely reached anyone in authority. My most recent attempt included sending management a detailed summary of all issues--past and present--and now I'm simply waiting to see if they even bother to respond. After hearing from others with similar complaints, my trust in this dealership is gone. I have gone as far as researching how much it would cost me to end my lease early, and have considered taking a financial loss, just to be able to sever ties with this business.
