I had to reschedule 46 hours before because I felt sick and she still charged me $275. Not customer first or flexible.

    B & T HVAC Services - Street sign

I have nothing but good things to say about Aaron and his team. They are honest, on time, professional, and tidy. I have never felt like they are trying to upsell me, even as a single female. I think it's a good sign when employees stick around, and several of them have been there for years (Johnathan is great!).

We had been a long-standing customer since 2020. They repaired our HVAC several times over the past years. Recently, our air conditioning stopped working and we contacted them. The technician informed us we needed a new unit. We would have happily had B&T install the unit, except for the attitude of the owner when questioned about the invoice for the service call. They charged us for the following: Service Call $99.44 + Labor Rates $89.44 + Gas/Trip/Admin $17.41 - All to tell us we cannot repair the air conditioner and would need a new unit starting at $14,016.05. The owner argued with me for 30+ minutes on the phone and refused to refund the service call even if I purchased a new unit from them. In the meantime, I contacted Boer Brothers who sent a technician to check our air conditioning unit. We were told we needed to replace our existing unit and were not charged for the service call whether or not they replaced the unit. This review is strictly directed toward the owner of B & T HVAC and his extremely poor treatment of a long standing customer. I suppose if you do not question any of their nickel and dime charges, you may have a better experience than we had.

I was blown away by how attentive and friendly they were despite being super busy. For the environment, the place felt a bit loud and crowded - which for one was a testament to how well liked it appeared to be (we are visiting from out of state) and how they had to make very creative use of the space as they must cater to so many in a smaller space. It was also clean and quite nostalgic with lots of interesting old time memorabilia - and didn't try to go too cheesy and over the top with the theme though again was a bit too busy and crowded and could have maybe used a more highlighted 'less is more' approach to showcase the ice cream shoppe feel, the old time candy shop ambience, etc. I also loved that there were no tvs to distract from the ppl in front of us, and though time period music would be fun, it might have made it even too much louder. I appreciated very much that they seemed to want ppl to talk and enjoy the company in front of them. The fried pickles app was really good, and the dreamsicle style shake and curly fries - sooo delicious! The ice cream concoctions we didn't try, but saw delivered all around us were huge and fun and looked so good! The BLT was a bit dry and could have used a good mayo or sauce, and my sister's Hawaiian chicken didn't have the Hawaiian bun but it was unique and still not bad. Though with the soda shoppe name I had hoped for more unique or home made soda concoctions or offerings. Overall though- the food was mostly really really good; it seemed cute and beloved and very popular with the town; and there was a clear pride in the place - and very apparent love and appreciation of the customers by the staff which was number one in what I saw and was very impressed by. They just need and deserve a bigger space!

Sat down and was greeted immediately ordering a water and sweet tea. Loved looking thru menu with so many good choices. We were going out for a big dinner later so this was suppose to be a small lunch. My wife ordered a cup of soup. I ordered a bowl of brunswick soup and a grilled pimento cheese sandwich. I could not finish the soup as the bowl was large and amount of meat in it was abundit. My grilled cheese was wonderful, I love pimento cheese. Unfortunately we could not try any of the soda or ice cream products this trip. The service is great and friendly. Restrooms are restored old school design. Will return to try other menu items and some Soda Shoppe product.

We started with the hush puppies - drizzled in hot honey with a side of butter! They came out hot and were amazing! My mom ordered the smash burger and fries and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the chicken BLT sandwich and fries and it was delicious! It was a bit messy, but worth the mess! My dad had the tomato soup and it was creamy and delicious! He got the chicken piccata and finished it! He said the dressing was a bit wet, but outside of that, no complaints. Our server was new - or nervous - or both, but he was super nice and did a fantastic job! My favorite part - their kids menu is for kids and kids at heart! I wish every restaurant with a kid's menu lifted their age restriction and allowed anyone to order from it!

We were seated right away and given time to peruse the menu which is basically brunch food, sandwiches and salads at lunch time. We ordered the smash burger with fries which came out perfectly cooked. Fries are skinny, hot and lightly salted. Also ordered a fried chicken BLT with bacon. Chicken and bacon had gotten hard from over-frying, but had good flavor. Tab was $25 plus tip, which seemed pretty pricey for 2 sandwiches, but we enjoyed our lunch and will likely return. There aren't many lunch spots in Pittsboro. .
