The living room wood surfaces were left dusty. - The master bathroom did not seem to have been cleaned fully -- the shower fixtures seemed to be untouched -- I had to clean the surface of the drawers in the bathroom because there were smudges on the surface -- the bathroom didn't even smell of cleaning agents like last time - they damaged the furniture in one of the bedrooms -- scraping off polish and paint - the 1st floor bathroom had streaks of liquid soap on the marble surface -- just as I had seen it in the morning before I left for work. Maria and one other woman arrived at my place and cleaned for about 4.5 hours. The place was spotless and smelled amazing. I called him while the work was being done. He told me to let him know as soon as the work was completed, and he'd be happy to do a walkthrough for me and squeeze me in so I could get home ASAP. He went to my apartment with his assistant and filmed the walkthrough and sent me the videos. It wasn't as bad as I had thought it would be, but it was still a job that would be too much for me to handle on my own. I knew if I hired Patrick, I could just walk back into my apartment as though nothing had happened. And that is EXACTLY what happened! He spent 1 full day and a morning cleaning the place from top to bottom. Everything was put back precisely according to pictures. I had done a lot of covering of closets, etc., because I was scared my building wouldn't do an adequate job. We had left it that he would check whether or not the inside of closets or cabinets needed to be done once he started the job. He was honest and told me those areas were in great shape; no need for him to add on extra work & extra cost. Not many people would be so honest. Patrick is a gem who knows his business. The appointment was for 4pm. Two dolls stumble in reaking of cigarettes ONE HOUR late. Mind you, we called multiple times from 4-5pm to ask where the dolls were and kept getting that they were on their way. Finally, after our last call, we were told that they went to Somerset instead of Summit. Yikes. They dont say hello when they walk in and the only one who could speak English was on the phone speaking Russian as she traipsed around my house without even acknowledging me. She looked like she hadnt showered in days. When she got off the phone I said, "welcome." I started showing her around explaining the areas we wanted her to focus on. My husband and I then left for about an hour to give them their space. We return after and hour and a half to them pretty much finishing up. I noticed that the floors are still dusty and nothing seems disturbed by a mop or even a paper towel. Hmmm, leaving so soon? As I walk upstairs I see one of the women using our swiffer and swiffer refills. Wait a minute, $95 for a cleaning and you are using OUR paper towels, windex, Clorox wipes, and rags. I confronted the doll who spoke English who said, "oh yeah we have a mop, but it's in the car and it's frozen. WHAT? You are a "cleaning doll" and you dont have a MOP?! If I knew she was going to swiffer I would have saved myself the money. I swiffer when I am at my absolute laziest and want to just freshen up the floor. When the dolls were all "done" they asked my husband for $10 for the use of their supplies. We thought she was kidding or that we just didnt hear her. Not once did I witness her use her own supplies! We argued for a while and I will just say that it got pretty ugly, and she said she would call the cops if we didnt give her the $10. Obviously, we paid up. SO frustrating.
