I nurse it over to the Sherbrooke garage and one of the great Mechanics there, helped me with disconnecting the throttle valve positioning sensor plug. blowing compressed air in to get all the water out, cleaning the contacts and then putting some dielectric grease in the plug. My motorcycle ran without any more issues for the rest of the 3000 mile trip. Thank you very much!!

Now, Nfld. is a…read morewonderful province, but the roads leave something to be desired, and by the time we got to New Glasgow the cumulative effect of driving on them had become apparent, as the bottom was falling out of our Mazda 5. The mechanic at V-Filling Station interrupted his other job to take off the plastic plate underneath the engine, assuring us that it was not essential to running the car. He charged us all of $20 for this; for added embarrassment neither of us had any Canadian money, and he didn't mind that I paid with US$. "I have to go to the bank some time!" he said. This was truly a travel-angel experience. The retro decorative touches in the office were also very cool.

It was AMAZING. I mean, there was nothing else for a 45 minute drive, so it had to be. It had ice, gas, alcohol, a restaurant, a convenience store AND a video rental. And also, was the only place within 45 minutes. So... if having no other option is your thing, Hanham's is your place.

Since it is the only station in town, one would like to support local businesses. However I…read morerecently used the station not knowing that I was using the full service pump. The attendant said that I had to pay the full service price because it was my fault and got angry at me. Luckily the owner came in and gave me the money back. Not going back. Will have to drive to Tantallon or Chester to get gas in the future.
