I hired Pedro's Gardening after seeing that they regularly service my next-door neighbor's…read moreproperty. I needed two sprinklers installed in my front yard, a small drip system for a backyard planter, some sod repair, and additional plants in the front yard. Pedro recommended adding the plants to improve the overall appearance of the yard and quoted me $2,000 for the project. While the work itself was generally okay, I was disappointed with the overall value for what I paid. For $2,000, I expected a much more finished and polished result. The plants installed were fairly basic succulents and flowers, and when everything was completed, the yard still looked unfinished. Overall, I'd rate the actual work about a 5 out of 10. My biggest issue, however, is what happened afterward. I asked Pedro to finish the project by adding mulch to the areas that still looked incomplete, and he agreed to come back and take care of it. I paid him in full, trusting that he would return and finish the job. Unfortunately, he never came back. That's ultimately why I'm leaving this review. I probably should have withheld final payment until everything was completed, especially considering the amount I paid. I trusted that because Pedro regularly works next door, following through wouldn't be an issue. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience. The work wasn't terrible, but the quality and finished product did not justify the $2,000 price, and failing to return and complete what was promised after receiving full payment was extremely disappointing. Based on my experience, I would not hire Pedro's Gardening again or recommend them to others.
