All I told him was that I wanted the fleur-de-lis fixed and to incorporate an Asian-style phoenix around it. After years of being embarrassed of my back I am finally proud of my art and love showing it! Professor Bob is THE MAN!

Everyone was SO nice! Their AC was out at the time so they allowed us to wait in our car and called us in when it was time for the piercings. The piercers were professional and knowledgeable, and the piercings themselves were as quick and painless as possible! The prices were also extremely reasonable. Both our piercings look great and are showing no signs of irritation or infection I highly recommended Lucky 7 for any of your piercing needs! Only thing to note is that their parking lot is a bit hard to get to/get out of. I recommend coming to them from the south for ease of parking!

We discussed a few different things and she drew up a concept for Yggdrasil (World Tree). I've had other tattoo artist and shop workers comment about how good the cover up is and I was super happy with it. Will 100% go back for another tattoo from her. She is pretty direct, which may not be some people's vibe, but that was something I looked for when I consulted, which lead me to trust her pretty quick.

They also make getting tattooed financially accessible by offering payment plans, which is super helpful! What other tattoo shops do that!? I don't know a single one. They really go out of their way to create a space that feels safe for the diversity of people who get tattoos and that is truly a gift to find in a business, let alone a tattoo shop. I make it a point to always get a tattoo when I come through Memphis from Underground Art. I cannot recommend them enough!

I held off on changing my review to a negative one until hearing a friend tell me that she came in with a design, had the artist make a suggestion that she declined, and then he CONTINUED ON WITH HIS CHANGE SHE DID NOT WANT TO HAVE PERMANENTLY PUT ON HER BODY, saying he would, "rather ask forgiveness than permission," on a permanent piece of art she paid money for. Due to placement, she was unable to look at the tattoo while in progress, but who would feel the need to panic and continually look at a tattoo after agreeing on a stencil in the first place? Don't risk tattoos or piercings here, whether it's for safety purposes or basic decency of being able to consent to what permanent change you're putting on yourself.

Haven't been here in about a year, but I have had nothing but positive experiences the 4 times I've been! I'm not sure why there's a lot of negative reviews, my tattoos are still bold and holding strong, and the shop / artists were very professional. I plan on coming back soon (who doesn't want more tattoos), and will update this review, but this is by far the best tattoo shop in Oxford, and the area as far as I'm concerned! The vibe inside is very calm, and the artists make sure you're comfortable while getting your tattoo done. Highly recommend!

Let me just say that if you want to try them out, I wish you luck. The attitude is arrogant and they show a lack of concern regarding customer satisfaction. They put me off several times using the excuse that it wasn't ready for touch-up, then when they finally said they would do it they changed my appointment that supposedly was scheduled because the "artist" was booked up. BS! Like I said, if you decide to try them, good luck. However, don't say you haven't been warned.
