Sought care for a possible UTI and an already established pet, where she had an annual visit about a month ago. I called Iron Range Vet on Friday last week and Iron Range Vet said you can drop off a urine sample at Crosby location by 5:30. She said if you are not able to make it before they close, you can drop off a urine sample Monday morning. "We can do the test since she was recently seen.
This was the worst vet experience to date ever with any service encounter. After agreeing to drop off a urine sample in the morning, the staff at Iron Range refused to do the test as they were not sure when the sample was taken. The person I had drop off the sample was asked and explained the sample was just done three hours ago. By the time I found out they didn't do the test it was too late in the day to find an alternative. Zero courtesy call or notification they refused to do the test. Thinking they had done the test, I called after 2pm to get an update. I was on hold for 30minutes. clearly they were trying to devise a story as to why they didn't do the test. After they came back on the phone they went on to explain...."We didn't know when the sample was taken"..... I found out later that afternoon, they were told the timing. instead they tried to blame me or anyone else except their terrible customer service. I asked that the owner call me. To date no outreach of any kind.
I will NEVER take my pets to this vet. I was not planning to write a review, but heard from a relative, they had a similar experience in the last year. I suggest those looking for a vet, you may want to ask if Iron Range Vet "Care Process" conflicts with the health and well being of your pet to get the care you are asking for instead empty response or lack of one. read more
