And every time we brought it in for that they told us that there was something else major wrong with it. Even repairs that were done by them the year prior! At least $600+ every year!! I won't take it back there and I suggest you think twice before you take your riding mower there!!!!!!!!!

Hard to put into words about the experience with Fred's today!…read more I used to dread appliance breakdowns, but now oddly kind of looking forward to the next one! Start with Helen who's such a delightful person. When we spoke on the phone while scheduling service on a washer machine at the cabin in Lake Summerset she went out of her way to accommodate us. Then Fred, the quintessential professional arrives reporting for duty! Super personable and talented individual, that knows exactly what and how to do to fix the equipment offering all if that at a very reasonable affordable price. The best home repair service experience EVER! If it's broken call Fred's and you will be gad that you did, I know I am!

The woman who is there for most of the time, Teresa, is not helpful and is very rude. I recently needed some repairs to my seat in my vehicle. At first after speaking on the phone I felt confident that this business could get the job done. During three separate occasions I stopped in between 10:00 and 5:00 and was not able to get assistance. The guy that does the upholstery, Chuck, was never there and according to the clerk he was the only one who could look at something and give an estimate. The interior of the place is very shady as it is their home and also is the entryway for 3 apartments. On my last visit I spoke to the clerk, Teresa, and she was very short with me complaining about her broken toilet and tenants. It was almost as if she was on drugs. I simply wanted to know a time when Chuck would be in so that I could get an estimate for insurance purposes. She then proceeded to get upset with me and stated that I should go somewhere else. The most shocking part was that she gave me a reference to four different shops in Freeport. All in all this business was one of the worst customer service experiences I have had. I would not recommend anybody to this shop and would highly question the overall quality of the work performed.
