Jer called a few times about this estimate and eventually revised it. I did not accept Jer's bid. I ultimately went with a different service provider. When Jer learned I was not going with him, he offered me $100 for a copy of the quote I accepted, as well as photos of the finished work. I did not immediately agree to this, as it was very off-putting. Jer then threatened to have his lawyer call me, and was extremely unprofessional over the phone, using profanities, threatening to sue me and attempting to intimidate me. I am very glad I did not choose Jer.

We had just moved into Sioux Falls and signed up for a plan to have our AC checked later in the spring and the the furnace in the fall. When they checked the furnace everything was working well. The furnace had a life of 15 to 20 years but had been in the home for 24 - long before we bought the home. In January, the furnace quit during the night. We called early that next morning and Al Hallstrom came to look at our furnace. Despite working on it for quite some time and trying different options, the best that could be done was a temporary fix until Al could install a new furnace the next day. Al explained why the furnace needed replacing, which didn't surprise us, and the options we had for furnaces. Al gave us a recommendation and some time to decide while he finished up some preliminary work that day. Al returned the next day with the furnace we selected and installed it well before the time estimated. The cost for the furnace and his installation time was VERY fair and at the last minute we asked about having a new programmable thermostat installed. He had one on hand and it was exactly what we wanted. So, he installed it too. Later that year (2011), we had a problem with the air conditioner late on a hot, muggy night with family staying at the house. Again, we called Aire Serv the next morning and Jeremy came. The problem was fixed VERY quickly and again the cost was VERY reasonable. We've had nothing but good luck with Al Hallstrom and the staff at Aire Serv. Whenever we have a problem, we call them first. If they can't fix the problem, they tell us they can't and offer advice on our next steps.

When he did speak to me he handed me a notice and said he shut off my the gas to my furnace because it was emitting carbon monoxide into my home. You can't imagine how upsetting this was. He then recommended a salesman from Aire Serv who could come out immediately. It was a scam! Aire Serv tried to overcharge me by$12,800 for a new a/c & furnace. I got a second opinion and my furnace was operating within normal standards and the unit I bought cost me less than $10,000. Aire Serv attempted to get me to make an overpriced, emotional decision. I recommend others avoid them.

Jason was called in a day sooner to install the toilet, fix the washer water connection so the floor installers could finish the flooring and inspect their work. Jason was so very helpful, showing us where the main shutoff was ( new home never looked for it before), educated me on some tips for our faucets and plumbing.
