After speaking with Tom (the owner) and signing the contract I asked if they would be able to complete a few additional jobs including putting aluminum cladding on front facia to my porch, removing an attic window replacing it with an attic vent and replacing the gutters and downspouts. Tom agreed that yes indeed they would be able to complete all the additional work. In addition to all that work his crew helped me in cutting down a couple of smaller trees and removed all of the debris as well as remove landscaping timber that I had removed from around a walkway. The service was fantastic and working with the crew was great. They really did go the extra step. Everything was cleaned up every night when they completed their work for the day so I had no worries about letting my dogs out into the yard. I would Highly recommend Mullens Siding & Roofing!

Sam Zekveld with Custom Craft was very empathetic about her situation and worked to give me a fair bid that would fit into her budget. This bid included work items that many other companies charged extra for. Things like tear-off, underlayment replacement & a very good warranty. Sam made me feel assured that the work would be done with high quality & attention to detail. As the day neared Sam kept me updated with information needed, especially regarding date changes. This was important to me because I was coming from out of state at the time the roof was installed. On the day the roof was installed Bob Slater, the field supervisor, arrived early to discuss any concerns. He listened closely to all my concerns and kept me updated throughout the day with updates & other info. He also showed me during the tear-off phase all the different places where the roof was currently failing and why, often due to poor installation when the house was originally built 22 years earlier. The worker crew arrived about 1/2 hour after Bob. They were very courteous & respectful toward me and my mother while they were working. For instance, they placed nets over all her bushes to catch debris that would fall off the roof instead of letting it fall directly onto the ground and into her landscaping. They worked hard all day long, putting in a 10-hour day to get the job done. They cleaned up often during the day keeping the sidewalks & driveway safe for us to get in and out of the house when necessary. They also went the extra mile to work around a heavy cupola on top of the house that my dad built years ago. They moved it to install the roof underneath, then reinstalled it and put a mini-roof on top of it . This is easily the best of the half-dozen or so roofing companies that I've ever worked with. They were highly professional, communicated well and did a quality job without taking shortcuts - a pleasure to work with.
