With a baby on the way, trashy neighbors living directly across my backyard and my rottweiler chasing the mailman for the 5th time (sorry!) I figured it was time. I got estimates from four other companies in late May. Mike at AF was the first to respond and come out for the quote. he also wore a mask which I appreciated. He was not the cheapest BUT he was able to install the fence earlier than all the other companies. I explained I needed it done before August when my baby is expected to arrive. He said it wouldn't be a problem as long as rain held off. Sure enough he got the fence installed in mid July. 50% down payment prior to the work beginning. Then paid the balance upon completion. I was also able to change my order to a larger gate when when he began the installation. Mike's staff worked quick and efficiently. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a fence.

To start, we had Ken come out to our property back around the middle of March, before COVID stuff went into full blast. We received a full estimate for agricultural fencing and it seemed fine. We contacted him a bit later, beginning of April, saying we were happy to move forward. He told us he had some other jobs lined up, but would come bring some machinery in to start getting posts in, especially because the no-climb fencing we wanted would take a while to get in... Well, that didn't happen. He told us he was having issues getting all of the materials, but he'd still be coming to do posts in the evenings/weekends. We heard nothing. Nothing came to our house, no posts were put up. We called, and told him we would be okay doing half of what the estimate was, especially if he was having trouble with getting the rest of the materials. It took weeks to get a phone call back from him. It's now July 6th and he still never contacted us back after saying a revised plan was fine - to be clear, we were also happy sticking to the original plan, we just wanted SOME fencing for our horses. I realized COVID had made it hard to get some materials, but we started this process way before spring AND summer. All we wanted was consistent communication. If he wasn't interested or couldn't handle the job, he should have just told us so we didn't wait months for someone to just NEVER SHOW UP. Completely unprofessional, and I would warn any of my friends away from this company. If he was still having issues getting materials, FINE! He never ONCE called us without us having prompted for a call back from him. Just keep us informed! If you're going to own your own business, communication is half the job. He doesn't realize he has totally screwed us over, and inherently, our horses. Our horses still have no pastures, no other fencing companies can do it until end of September/October because we waited so long for him to return our calls or even reach out on his own, so we had to contact other fencing companies in the middle of their busy season. Absolutely beware. I would honestly just go with someone else if you actually ever want to see fencing go up on your property!

We have a large two garage door so lifting it wasn't going to happen; it's heavy! I immediately Googled garage companies and was found this company and spoke to a very nice woman who was helpful and said that a tech could be at our house Sunday morning at 10. Wow! I received a text and email confirmation which was a good way to make sure they would be at our house. I received a call around 9ish the next day that the tech could be there before 10 and if that would be alright. Sure! He came and was super friendly and explained things clearly to us. We needed new springs/ coils and he had all the work done in about 45 minutes. Super happy with the company as a whole (beginning, work, price, professionalism) and would definitely call them again if needed, but hopefully not anytime soon.

I was thinking about going to Lowe's to buy and use their installation service, but there were other parts that I needed to purchase for this job and I really didn't know what all I needed. I saw 716 Garage Door's ad and search them online., call and asked for an estimate. It was a little more compared to the other way, but I didn't need to worry about all the parts and it comes with a 5-yr warranty, so it is good value. Kevin is courteous and knowledgeable. He also recommended I change the springs, he said they were too much for my door. I actually heard this same comment before when one of the springs broke and I had it replaced, the tech said I only needed one large spring instead of 2. So this was what Kevin said, too. I opted for one larger spring instead of 2 smaller ones. He helped me set up the keypad and the button on my car, too. I recommend this service.

Cary (the owner) came in with the first of several estimates. Of the contractors I contacted, he best understood what I wanted. My house had rotting window frames, uneven bad-looking shake shingle siding that was long past the day I should have done something about it. A house down the street had the look I wanted, and Cary quoted me the price. I also asked about replacing my front and side doors. The siding color I wanted was a special order, so I had to wait a couple weeks for it to be made. It was well worth the wait. Lifetime supplied a brand called "Perfection" and it is truly perfect siding. The siding sections lock together in a way that I don't think even a hurricane would loosen them. All the rotted wood was replaced with Azek trim. The result is my 70-year-old run-down house now looks like a new build. The doors that leaked cold air during the winter are gone. I am very satisfied.
