Went here for the first time earlier, and was greeted with the friendliest GP I've ever come across. She sat down beside me and just listened, then chatted with me as if she were a friend, offered solid advice and many options to suit me, and was even eager to save me money on a few things. Besides this, when I arrived in the centre, I had to wait a max of 3-4 minutes before being seen. The place is smack bang in the middle of Smithfield, so really easy access-wise, and it's pretty brand new, so nice and bright, airy and clean looking. Overall, my visit gave me full confidence in their abilities, something I'd very rarely say about any visit to a GP centre!

Absorbing the second floor of a building just off of Grafton Street's thoroughfare, the medical centre is divided into two areas: regular visits and patients travelling abroad. The rotating staff of very capable GPs are, while fast, working hard to treat you completely. My first visit was with Dr. Emer O'Reilly a great doctor with a brilliant personality. She advised me on my perscriptions, gave me a check up, then sat down to discuss my overall health and well being. Lovely! As for costs there are no bargains to be had, unfortunately. An average appointment will run you €60 -about the same as most Dublin doctors. But, for the money there is a fantastic resource here. I've made sure to recommend this place (and this doctor) to visiting and local friends who may be feeling under the weather and I'm delighted to do the same for you.

Dr Leonard had told me they put a huge amount into finding someone to take over the practise. This was confirmed when I met Dr Bressan, very thorough, extremely knowledgeable. Caring, kind and to the point which I appreciate. All the staff are polite, friendly and you feel genuinely looked after. I wouldn't hesitate at all in recommending this practice. Get in, staff is friendly, explain what the problem is, nurse, physician, exams, etc, etc, process is smooth. Clinic is not crowded and you don't have to wait a lot between steps. As we have VHI we decided to try out one of their walk in centres and boy were we impressed. The receptionist took our details and apologised that we might have to wait up to ten minutes to be seen!!! I was thrilled with how pleasant the staff were, how clean the place was. We were seen very quickly by a doctor, xrayed, bandaged with an appointment for physio made all within an hour. BLISS will deffo be using it again thank you VHI for saving my sanity. Unfortunately it is not cheap for non VHI members but when you measure up the cost of sitting in A&E for 15 hours as opposed to paying out 150euro (a night on the town) then I'd forgo the night on the town.
