Not only was the hygienist rude to the receptionist, but seemed very uncaring and dismissive to me. Maybe she was having a bad day? Regardless, after she cleaned my teeth and diagnosed my problem, I was told I would see Dr. Fielder, but then minutes later she told me I was free to go. I was so uncomfortable at this point, I did not care that Dr. Fielder never showed up to check my teeth - I just wanted to get the heck out of there. After seeing Korus, getting a proper diagnosis, and a referral to an oral surgeon, I am beyond disappointed that not only did Fielder's hygienist misdiagnose me, but she claimed I needed much more work done than I truly needed. I feel like I was being convinced to pay hundreds and hundreds of dollars for work that I truly do not need. It's upsetting and sad. Based on my experience, I highly recommend this business be avoided.

I went in initially with an infected tooth that another dentist in town had ignored. I left with a prescription for antibiotics and an appointment for followup work to be done. Then I got a call that they had to reschedule the follow up. I couldn't stand the wait, so I ended up having to go to Ft Stockton. (Wonderful experience, BTW, I ended up needing crowns in my two lower left molars). The last time I went to Bella Dental I took my husband along for his own exam. We were both bitterly disappointed in our treatment. In fact, we had to dispute the charges for him; Dr Nava never even looked in his mouth, yet we were charged for X-rays and an evaluation exam. We were successful in our appeal. I cannot recommend this practice or Dr Nava. In fact, when asked, I share my experiences and advise the person to check out Boone Dental Alliance in Ft Stockton or the dentists at PCHS in Alpine.

Some people leave their heart in Texas. I left my heart And my tooth!…read more Emergency Last Minute Tooth Extraction! I had a tooth crack clean in half and the nerve was exposed The pain was bad. I called in and the doctor saw me last minute on the same morning I called. I returned later the same day and had the tooth removed. Since it was cracked straight in half, it came out in two pieces. He also completed the bone graft. The doctor was great and basically held my hand through the process. His communication skills are great and he talked me through every step as he was conducting the procedure. He is very experienced and professional. The office staff is also great. There was no problem communicating with my regular dentist and they sent over the X-rays and details the same day. After returning home, I saw my regular periodontist. He checked the work and bone graft weeks later and was able to complete the implant after. I am very appreciative of the work done here.

I regret ever going to this Dentist who cause me physical and emotional pain. The medicine to numb did not work for me and I could feel everything. When I told her for the 2nd time that I could feel her cutting my gums she got upset through her gloves off and sent me home with no cotton balls to at least soak the blood up after cutting my gums up. My husband drove me to the nearest Dollar General to retrieve cotton balls to help soak up the blood. So very disappointed by the treatment of this woman and she calls herself a professional. I'd rather drive hours away then ever come to this place again. I refer no one and I warn people who say they are going to visit this office. Dr Nava started a treatment plan two months ago. From day one the details were blurry and she said…read moreit would take two appts. to complete the plan. On the third appt with 2 more to go she became offended when asked what was going to be done at this appt and how many more would be needed. I felt that Dr. Nava does not feel she needs to answer patients questions. She walked out of the room never to be seen again. An assistant came in 15 minutes later saying that Dr. Nava would not treat me anymore because she didn't like her patient asking about what was happening. Every time I had an appointment the plan changed with more appt's necessary. I cannot recommend Dr. Nava to anyone who needs a dentist that will discuss a detailed treatment plan with their patient.
