They take months to reply to your concern and do not pick up the phone. The codes that were sent to my insurance needed to be changed to be covered and everyone was giving me the run around. I completely reached my deductible and out of pocket expenses due to surgeries but was billed because Methodist did not want to change a code. It has been months since I have been trying to get help and no one is helping. Some of the test that were ran were even rejected because they submitted it wrong and I am getting charged for it. This is completely horrible customer service. They are quick to have you come in for an appointment but don't help you after when they charge you for it. I will not suggest coming to this location unless you want to get charged for no reason for things that can get covered because they do not feel like changing it. I am disappointed in this organization/ office if this is how you treat all of your long term clients.

To correct it they said, "just take twice the dose and we will correct this when we re-fill". They would have never caught the mistake if I hadn't noticed. I waited one year to receive a referral for an annual diabetic eye exam...never received one. I finally left to find another primary care doctor. The last straw was when the receptionist said my insurance was no longer valid (it is valid) and charged me $120 for the office visit! When I complained to the office manager, she was rude and unprofessional. Now I know who trains the rest of the staff. Avoid this office, they will kill you if you give them a chance.

They WILL ask you to leave if you're being rude or unruly, or not wearing a mask. ALSO, wear a mask -- it's required in THEIR building, by law AND by request -- don't have a mask on and they're going to provide you one, or send you home if you refuse. It's just that simple. I've seen a lot of people complaining about insurance issues on here as well, and you can't blame your horrible insurance companies that didn't bill you correctly, as a mistake from the practice -- my partner and I both see the same doctor, they CODE us for exactly the same things, but due to my advanced stages of certain issues....they cover more for me than they do for my partner who's slightly more healthy. I have X number of issues, and the Insurance Company knows this -- if you're ever unsure of charges, call your HI Company first -- I can almost guarantee you, THEY messed up the billing and coding....not UPG. 99% of the time, this has been the case for me. I cannot say enough good things about UPG, and I credit them with basically saving my life. I was wasting away to nothingness and couldn't figure out why, and they finally found an answer for me, and now I'm feeling much better than I ever did before I went in to see them. What to Take Away: Don't blame OTHERS for your LACK of planning. This is basically 2022, the year of LEARNING HOW TO WAIT! We're all going to have to adjust, and re-learn patience. No one has any patience at the moment, and that's a huge issue. Calm down, reset your expectations for the new COVID era, and come back to reality. We're going to ALL be waiting this out for a while. I met Dr. Evans through a referral when I was laid up in a hospital bed at Baylor and was wanting to cut ties with my then medical team. I went to her office and basically interviewed her, I asked questions, things that didn't relate to my medical history to make sure that I was comfortable with her treating me. That was 7 years ago and I couldn't be happier to have Dr. Evans as my doctor. We have been through lots of ups & downs together regarding my medical health and she always remains positive as well as making me feel like she has my best interest at the forefront. On a recent visit Dr. Evans could tell something was wrong before I could even open my mouth to tell her. And when I left she told me if I needed anything before my next visit to not hesitate to contact her. I love Dr. Evans, I can't say that enough and if you are lucky, she can be your doctor as well.
