I thought I could scan at home but couldn't, and the Huntersville library is closed for renovations. On my first day here (yesterday), I watched a man on a computer sneeze directly into his hands and continue typing, I walked by a little girl who coughed twice loudly without covering her mouth, and I accidentally dropped my change so all the coins went rolling under the bookshelves. I literally got on my hands and knees to search and collect the change--they were quarters! Today I went back and let the librarian know that I hadn't scanned anything in years. I pretended I was dumb so she would walk me through it. It worked. Very seamless experience. Prior to finishing this review, I just received an email reply from the person I'm sending this info to. That email reads: "Thanks, Tyler (my pen name). All that's missing now is a copy of a voided check." Back to the library!

Plenty of books on stacks and you do need to be an Iredell County resident to get a library card and borrow materials. If they don't have the book you want, they may be able to transfer it from another branch in the county system. The librarians I interacted with were friendly. I find something new everytime I come here!…read more We started visiting here weekly to kill time while waiting for my daughter's extracurricular activity to finish and it's amazing what we continue to discover. First, super kid friendly with a schedule for activities planned just for them! There's even a whole section of the library dedicated to kids from books, a cute quiet reading corner wheel built into the wall, a giant interactive play pad for 4, a drawing station, sensory toys along the wall and private rooms you can bring them into to do work. I recently also needed a room to take a work call as a last minute thing and they were helpful in accommodating me into one of their available rooms that didn't require training. Wifi is good, there are places everywhere to plug in, and there's coffee downstairs called Moji that's good and supports and employs neurodiverse individuals. I could go on from the dvds, video games, comic books and other opportunities but there isn't enough space or time. Just check it out! It's got something for everyone.

The only issue is some of them can take a while to become available...Overall, I am a little bit sad I am just now coming to visit this library! I feel like I have been missing out! You can use the printers with a library card for 10 free prints a day (they are $0.15 each so up to $1.50/day). I will say just like with any place you need to be aware of your surroundings! There were a couple of times I was making sure I kept an eye out, but luckily there are a lot of people around as well as a security guard that makes his rounds. This made me feel super safe! The restrooms were also relatively clean!

We arrived at 4 knowing it closed at 5 p.m. A friendly attendant greeted us at the gate and asked if we were new visitors which we were, and he informed us that the last tour was already progress and we could join in, or explore the grounds on our own. This is an experience everyone young and old would enjoy! The tour is a glimpse into Mr. Graham's life, his ministry, and his travels around the world. The gardens and grounds are beautiful, and there's a memorial garden on site. We're already planning to return to experience the full tour, which is said to be at least an hour and a half long and it's free. The staff was amazing and very knowledgeable.

It's so nice to see I'm not the only bookie out here lol. The parking was easy and organized. The book sale itself was packed but they had so many wonderful volunteers helping to steer the crowd, it was pretty seamless. They even had volunteers walking around asking if they could take your books and put them on a table to hold for you so you could keep shopping comfortably. it was great! The library has multiple stories and was very clean and quiet. I will absolutely be back soon!!
