Because of Tomo who cut my hair very good and fixed the bad hair cut one week ago in the same studio. I would like to give 3 stars. If I would give the review just based on the experience, I would like to give only 1 star or even 0.
One week ago, I was with them for hair cut. The hairdresser named Marie could barely speak English or German. She cut my hair not as what I want and even curled my hair temporarily. I believe her good intention, however I still told her in the studio that I actually preferred to have straight hair. Nevertheless, if it is temporarily, I can bear with that for one day. After I washed my hair the next day, I figured out that the length of my hair on left is not the same as the right side. Thus, I called the studio nicely and asked for a fix appointment. The studio staff told me that my original hairdresser is on vacation and asked me if that's ok with me to change another hairdresser for me. I agreed.
Today I went the studio to fix my haircut. The new hairdresser called Tomo is really nice and capable. She fixed my hair. I am now happy with my hair style. Obviously she didn't know that I was there for a fix although I clearly mentioned to her that I also was in the studio last weekend and wasn't happy about my haircut. I guess that's why she asked me to pay the full price EUR 50 for the cut. I kindly explained the situation and my new hairdresser understood the situation and discussed that with the studio owner-Maki. Although I don't understand Japanese, I don't feel Maki was nice to her. By the end, I was asked to pay EUR10. Maki's reason is I have a new hairdresser who fixed my hair. Maki didn't really say any sentence to me. She made the decision and left. My new hairdresser Tomo explained all to me. I paid them EUR 10, because 1) that's what I plan to give her as tips. 2) I feel my new hairdresser Tomo is very innocent. I learnt from our conversation that she is new to the country and to the studio. Obviously she didn't know many of the things/rules. I don't want her to be punished due to this.
All in all, I am really beginning to doubt the integrity of this studio. They messed up my first haircut. Because of their mistake, I have to spend extra 2 hours on my weekend to fix this. Plus, it is not my fault that my original hairdresser is on vacation and I need to change the hairdresser. It's the pure studio decision. Because of their mistakes and decision, I was asked to pay again money and spend again 2 hours. I am doubting again my value as their customer. I don't think I will recommend this studio to anyone else.
