Her behavior came across as unprofessional, dismissive, and condescending. Throughout the visit, I felt that I was being talked down to. For example, when discussing the possibility of eye inflammation related to my autoimmune disease, I was made to feel almost stupid for not already knowing that inflammation could cause significant redness or bloodshot eyes. I am not an ophthalmologist, and I came to the appointment seeking a professional explanation--not to be made to feel ignorant for asking questions. When we discussed my strabismus, I was told that my options were essentially surgery or wearing thicker glasses to hide my eyes. I found this discouraging and quite frankly very insensitive commentary. What bothered me most, however, was how she decided to end the appointment. She had previously told me that I was the same age as her children. And since I had lived all this time with my condition, I would be essentially throwing away money buying glasses. To be completely honest, I sat there in shock silently processing everything she had said and she took my silence as not understanding her. She suggested that I call my mother because it would be easier to understand. This did not make any sense. Regardless of my age or how close in age I am to her own children, I am an independent adult, and I expect to be treated like one. Being young does not mean that I am incapable of understanding my medical care or making decisions for myself. I would have appreciated an explanation delivered with patience and respect rather than being spoken to as though I were a child who needed my mother to understand a medical conversation for me. I have no issue acknowledging her credentials and I am sure she is very intelligent in her field, but expertise does not excuse dismissive, condescending, or unprofessional behavior toward a patient. I left the appointment feeling talked down to rather than listened to. She spent all of 10 minutes with me and it was enough to leave a horrible first impression. As a current student looking to enter into a health care career in the near future, the conduct of her practice is alarming and disheartening. Doctors should go into their careers to help their patients not to dismiss or diminish their concerns.

I found her by a recommendation from another excellent ophthalmologist in a different field. I came to her office with a client, who was initially quite stressed and irritable because of severe health challenges. Within just a few appointments. I watched how Dr. Reznik's compassionate care turned my client from a tough patient into a real fan. Every time, doctor took time to make my client feel comfortable, physically and mentally, and addressed our many questions and concerns. She just makes you feel save and respected, which is very important for my client's delicate psyche. It goes without saying, that Dr. Reznik lived up to the high recommendations we received from the referring specialist. My client's intraocular pressure is under control, and she's using eye drops that are least abrasive to her eyes. Dr. Joseph is a top shelf surgeon for all things involving the intricate eye area. Dr. Joseph's expertise, attention to detail, genuine care and calm bedside manner are unmatched. His entire team is exceptional, making for an amazing experience from start to finish. They're all super responsive, accommodating and go above and beyond to make sure my questions are answered and needs are met, both before and long after surgery. I'm SO thrilled with my surgery results! I had an upper and lower blepharoplasty, along with a mini brow lift and under eye chemical peel. It was important for me to maintain my natural hooded eye shape and to simply look like "refreshed and awake" version of myself. Aging (40) and weight loss caused my already limited upper eyelid space to totally disappear and for under eyes hollows to appear. Dr. Joseph takes a conservative approach to surgery, so his results create a very natural look. He managed my expectations well and made sure that I understood what results were possible (or impossible) given my anatomy. In my opinion, when it comes to the intricate and delicate eye area, it's SO important to find an Occulaplastics surgeon who specializes in this area. Don't bargain shop when it comes to your face or settle for a general facial plastic surgeon who may or may not often operate on the eye area. I recommend Dr. Joseph to anyone considering upper face surgery. At the very least, you owe it to yourself to schedule a consult with Dr. Joseph!

I cannot recommend Dr. Jeffrey Joseph highly enough…read more I first came to Dr. Joseph a few years ago because I was unhappy with the appearance of my under-eye area. Before finding him, I had been told by other providers that filler was the answer for the unevenness under my eyes. Unfortunately, it only made things worse. After consulting with Dr. Joseph, I finally understood that what I actually needed was a lower blepharoplasty--not filler. That surgery completely refreshed my appearance while still looking incredibly natural. Friends would tell me I looked well-rested, and I honestly felt like I looked 10 years younger. As I approached 43, I noticed my upper eyelids had begun resting on my lash line. My eyes constantly looked tired, and my makeup routine had gone from about 7 minutes to nearly 30 because I was trying so hard to make my eyes look more open and awake. I knew it was time to go back to Dr. Joseph for an upper blepharoplasty. Just like my first experience, everything was exceptional. His office is one of the most organized and caring medical practices I've ever worked with. The communication before, during, and after surgery was incredibly thorough, and they made me feel supported every step of the way. They even surprised me by sending a beautiful bouquet of flowers to my home after surgery--a thoughtful gesture that perfectly reflects the kind of practice they run. The surgery itself was far easier than I had imagined. I was much more nervous than I needed to be. I never even needed Tylenol afterward, and my recovery was remarkably quick. By day eight, I looked almost completely normal. I'm now seven weeks post-op, and people constantly ask me if I've done something different because I look younger. I always happily tell them about Dr. Joseph. One thing I've realized is how many women in their 40s don't even know what blepharoplasty can do. I always felt like my neck was the only area that showed my true age. I can't share how many friends and family commented "I can't believe how well you healed" ! Acquaintances noticed absolutely nothing changed and not because the subtle changes but because the sutures were so unnoticeable. I had them on my temples and he almost entirely tucked around the hairline which I do believe was even moved up ever so slightly in order to cover them. The actual stitches were so tight and neat and discrete that even I did not know they were there until my wife explained to me I had them there as well as completely around my ears from front outer lobe all the way around the entire back of the ear. I even asked the doctor during my month follow up if he had actually stitched or glued the area. He clarified I was stitched and only large flesh wounds get glued to my surprise. Less then 3 months later, nobody can even pick up on any scars except behind the ears which generally takes an extended time period due to the thinness of the skin and limited blood flow since there are very few arteries in that area. Dr Lee is the absolute best and I would not only recommend him to friends but family without a doubt !

Upon arrival, I was told I was a "hard person to get a hold of." However, I had no missed calls, texts, or emails. Despite showing them the text message they had sent me the previous week, the staff struggled to correct my information even in person. I was then told they couldn't see me until later in the day because they had been unable to reach me to reschedule. Not one staff member thought to check the phone number I had called from or the number they had texted successfully. The lack of basic problem-solving and professionalism was astounding. Dr. Lee may be an excellent doctor, but I won't be finding out. Asking a patient to wait around all day because of the office's own administrative errors is unacceptable. This level of disorganization does not inspire confidence in an establishment I would trust with any of my medical services.

I was recommended by a previous physician to see Doctor Park, he was very nice until he received my money. After Doctor Park received my payment he became a complete jerk! I was getting my blood work done for my surgery and my physician said I needed to bring up my iron levels up which Doctor Park did not agree with. Doctor Park is not for patient care at all! Doctor Park was upset that I reschedule my surgery from Jan to Feb and I honestly feel that he does not have a good patient bedside for anyone! Doctor Park has made this whole experience horrible. The comments he makes and the way he treats his patients he should not be practicing. After I had my surgery I have been depressed with the words and excuses he is telling me why he messed up. He told me my left side was messed up due to my scoliosis. I went out and immediately saw an orthopedist who had x-rays done and ruled out I did not have scoliosis. Now I have to go through another surgery for a revision of my left side. Very angry and upset. One of his responses he actually said to me was "your hooha looks great" to make matters worse. Follow up appointments to go see him he makes comments that makes me feel so bad to the point I dread seeing him.

This was after hours, but made himself available. 15 stitches later I was back together. Antibiotics and wound care were gone over by Dr Grazer, and after 1 month the back of my hand has a small scab which will heal without any scarring. What a great doc...not many like him nowadays. A friend referred me to this office, where I was initially seen by PA Claudine Magtoto in June. After reviewing my scans, which showed almost no sinus opening, they recommended a balloon sinuplasty to help improve my drainage. The process was seamless from start to finish. Scheduling the procedure was incredibly easy and on the day of the appointment, everything went as smoothly as possible. Both the front office staff and Dr. Furze were very thorough. Since having the procedure done, I haven't had a single sinus issue. If you are struggling with ongoing sinus or allergy problems, this is definitely the place to go!

Surgery went well, or so I thought, and was able to breathe fine until January 2025 when it all came back and it was as if I never went through it all. After waiting all of 2025 to try and set up an appointment to resolve my issues, I took matters into my own hand and went to a plastic surgeon who recommended a doctor at Hoag. Although I wasn't able to book a consultation with that doctor, the Hoag website advertised Dr. Furze, and the rest was history. I'm incredibly grateful for him and his team, shoutout to Claudine, because they made the whole process seamless. Claudine, his PA, was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. They examined me and let me know what the issue was and how they would differ from my last surgery in an attempt to fix it. It's been 5 months since my surgery and I'm breathing great. I do appreciate they did a mini nose job, because I explained to them that if i positioned my nose a certain way, it opened up my nasal passage. Anyway, I would recommend his practice to anyone. At least for me, the main thing I look for in a medical practice is their ability to relate to a patient or make a patient feel comfortable, and everyone on his staff is super affable.
