Our dog (malinois mix) came back much calmer and more obedient. Thank you so much Ryan and Alex!! We have 3 really great dogs who needed some command training and socialization both with people (specifically men) and other dogs. We also needed help introducing my small dog Lily to the other two and wanted to do that in a controlled environment. Alex and Ryan did a great job especially with our fairly stubborn Anatolian breed. Fiona and Boo did so well and now our 3 dogs are able to roam the house and hang in our room all together!! These guys are the real deal. Have a Malian Shepherd mix. So hyper and aggressive and wouldn't stop barking at everyone and everything. Called IQ dog training and they admitted to us she was one of the most difficult dogs. After their persistence, Scooby now obeys commands and the barking is so much better. They taught her to sit in a car, go to public places, be around people, and obey commands. The follow up care they provide, has taught us how to make sure Scooby doesn't regress. I adopted a rescue in December 2023. She's a Malinois, lab, pit mix and was just 1yr old when I got her. She was already housebroken and trained in the basics but didn't always obey commands. Her energy level and mischievousness was through the roof and honestly I was starting to second guess my decision, but I also knew I made a commitment to her and would not give up. I had a conversation with a good friend that has a young Dobie that Ryan transformed from a dog she was about to give up on as well into her now well behaved companion. Knowing what her dog was like before Ryan and what he's like now I immediately knew we needed his help. I contacted Ryan and began working with him in early 2024. We are still a work in progress but I now have a different dog. It's like night and day. It took several weeks but then it was like a switch was flipped. He taught us how to be strong but with positive reinforcement. Not sure why they call it dog training. It's really should be called dog owner training. Dogs are smart. People (us), we are the problem. He's taught us how to successfully communicate with our dog. Looking forward to the many years of adventure we get to have with her. We have a Pit Bull Mix and a Doberman/Belgian Malinois mix. Both were adopted from the shelter, and are very high energy. I sent them to the Board and Train Boot Camp at IQ Dog Training. Ryan and Alex did a great job with them! They took the time to understand the challenges I was having, and worked to address them. I got regular updates and videos showing their progress. I really felt like they were in good hands. I looked into a lot of different programs, and even though I don't live near Montebello, I felt that they would do the best job with my dogs. They did not disappoint! When they returned, they showed us what they learned and gave us tips to keep them on track. I've reached out since then with a few questions, and they always respond promptly. They stand behind their training.
