I first met Kelly at a coffee shop and we spent over 2 hours discussing details, the aesthetic, and what I envisioned for my big day. Not only did she carefully take notes, but she genuinely listened and provided helpful, creative ideas. I was getting married in Malibu, but 5 months before the wedding, I moved to Northern California and although planning a wedding from afar was not ideal, Kelly seamlessly organized all of my vendors, guided all arrangements, and was always available for a late night phone call or text. One point to highlight is that not only is Kelly incredibly organized, but she also takes immense pride in her work and it shows. Kelly went above and beyond to help create a beautiful welcome sign, escort cards, table numbers, reserved seat cards, customized bar signs and the most perfect personalized napkins. Kelly spent hours on the phone and in person with me so that we could perfect floral arrangments, rentals, and she even made a vision board so that all of our vendors would be able to help create my vision. An additional point is that throughout the whole process, Kelly was mindful of my budget. She always offered suggestions that were in my price range and with her own creative hand was able to offer alternatives. On the actual wedding day, Kelly was a breath of fresh air (as all of us brides need) and not only was everything perfectly arranged, but every moment was coordinated seamlessly. Not only do they have a terrific eye for lighting, angles, poses, and emotions, they are a terrific company to work with. Sean is a very good photographer; he has terrific suggestions and is very creative to find that perfect shot. His team which includes his wife are so awesome. They also make you feel very comfortable because let's face it, it's not every day you have a camera taking hundreds of pictures taken of you. I had such a great time taking pictures with my fiance now husband, I kind of forgot we were in a photoshoot. At both events, Sean is like some ninja! He's on the floor, on the stairs, jumping off of balconies, in and out and seriously, I'm surprised the guy can still do all of this while wearing nice slacks. My husband and I had planned most of the wedding and we were looking for someone that could help us in the week leading up to the wedding and on the day of. I found Kelly through Craigslist and her price was really affordable. Given that we had a large wedding, Kelly also brought on two wedding assistants to help with the multiple events on the wedding day. From the moment I spoke with Kelly on the phone, I really appreciated her professionalism, attention to detail and her down to earth personality. After explaining the details our wedding, I was pretty confident she could do the job. Leading up to the wedding we met and finalized the details with her. She coordinated our wedding rehearsal and we gave her all the DIY decor, candy and other supplies for her to set up the day of the wedding. It was nice to know I didn't have to worry about decorating and little details like that the day of the wedding! On the day of the wedding, Kelly took the lead to setting up the venue and one of her assistants helped us with the setup and breakdown of our Chinese tea ceremony. The wedding venue and the decor at the reception looked beautiful when I saw it. Kelly did an amazing job of setting up. For the ceremony and the reception, I was confident that things were being taken care of. Kelly would come by and offer us anything that we needed and I appreciated how she helped packed everything up after the wedding was over so it was easy to take home. It was all very seamless. Looking back, if I had to comment on areas of improvement, I would say I wish Kelly had reminded me of things I probably forgotten to think about. For example, we had forgotten to give her our gift card and envelope box for the registration table (my parents had it in the back of their car) and guests were confused about where to leave the cards. I didn't realize it was missing till after the wedding and I thought that would be one forgotten detail that would have been pretty noticeable. Also during the reception, when some issues did occur, there were times where we couldn't find the wedding assistants or Kelly. Given that it was a big wedding, I understand they could have been monitoring everything behind the scenes, but we hoped that we could have had more access to them. Even with these minor issues, all in all the event ran successfully! Our wedding day was perfect enough for us. When she first met with us we thought we had almost everything ready and planned out. She walked through everything we had planned so far and asked us all of the right questions to help us figure out what we still needed to figure out. She gave us wonderful recommendations on the couple larger items we knew we needed help with (we used some of them and they worked out great). She collected all of our vendor information and helped us nail down our schedule perfectly. She met with us at the 30 days out mark, a week before the wedding, for the rehearsal, and of course on the big day. She even helped us with choreographing our first dance (she's a wonderful dancer).
