I paid $225 for a "diagnostic" visit. I did not receive treatment. Instead: a COREScore scan using an INSIGHT by CLA system, which produced a color-coded report labeling me "Zone 4," "20% efficiency," and "challenged." No acknowledgment that these readings fluctuate with sleep, caffeine, stress, or anxiety. Just alarming language designed to frighten me into believing something was fundamentally wrong. Then X-rays. Then I was told to schedule a follow-up. At the follow-up, the doctor clearly hadn't reviewed my results beforehand. He was seeing everything for the first time in front of me. None of this required two visits. It felt like padding. Then someone else was brought in to discuss financials. Not the doctor. A closer. This is when it became a full sales pitch. I was presented with a 36-visit, 6-month plan. I said I was fine paying $55 per visit. I was not fine with a lump sum or monthly payments. Here's the irony: their own paperwork lists "$55.00 per visit." But that's not actually an option. The only choices were $1,917 upfront or $355/month for six months. I asked for true pay-per-visit. They refused. Any practice that demands a lump sum is prioritizing cash flow over your outcomes. They get paid whether you improve or not. The leverage disappears the moment you pay. This did not feel like healthcare. It felt like a conversion funnel. My calf pain? Barely addressed. Dr. Jeremy came across as rough and dismissive. The staff was polite, but my issue is the model: proprietary metrics framed as diagnostics and the push toward financial commitment before any trial of care. I was disappointed in what feels like false advertising and wish I would have read the reviews before bringing my daughter in. We went for treatment for some back pain and instead after they scanned were told we had to come back again for a 90 minute follow up. They only gave us vague information about my daughters back alignment. They did not catch her scoliosis, the school nurse caught it about 8 months after we visited. I actually was informed when I set up my appointment that my insurance will cover my visit with no issues. Guess what; I finished paying $95.00 for the first visit and at the end provide me with a little note and with some information about my next visit and discuss payment arrangements and possible future adjustment. I guess; Never Again . I regret not reading previous review. No one can tell me what covered with my insurance at all when I went to my insurance portal and I even call and they told me I was covered. Too much positivity as soon I walk in was too much. We started to take our baby girl to another chiropractors office for treatment when we discovered that she was not able to raise her head as per infant's development timeliness for 7 weeks old, after we consistently went for 3 weeks and 6 treatments, our baby girl had little improvement in her head range of motion, still not able to raise her head at tummies time. Also, the inconsistency in how the other chiropractor explained the cause of that and how my concern was toned down made me uneasy. Is that something taking longer time can resolve as the other chiropractor said? I didn't want my daughter missing the development mark. I felt hopeless and helpless about my baby girl to be able to do what a healthy infant can do by her age at 10 weeks. , I was not willing to leave things to chance, to leave my daughter at a disadvantage position at the beginning of her life. Then I searched all chiropractor offices in the area. Lo Behold, I found Invictus Chiropractic, I thought I just had to try. We visited Invictus the first time a week ago, paid, and did the scan. To be honest, I wasn't impressed after the initial visit, I was still anxious, wondering if my baby girl's neck would become normal? Out of faith, I visited Invictus Chiropractic again on Monday and paid the whole month as per plan, then the treatment was about only a few minutes. I left , but I was still not sure how this Invictus can help my daughter improve. An hour after I got home, I encouraged my daughter to do tummy time. To my complete surprise, once on her tummies, my baby girl rated her head high!!! I called my husband, who was working in his home office to come out to see my baby girl. She was still raising her head up while on her tummy. We did another tummy time after an hour. Our daughter consistently raised her head up so high that I couldn't believe it. I sobbed every single time the last few days when I saw my daughter do so well on her tummy with head raised up high. It was a miracle to me! I am very thankful to God and to Dr Jordan, who diagnosed so accurately and is so skillful to bring such drastic results. After 45 minutes I was told they don't do manipulations, only what I call a "clicker'. I've had this in the past and it has always hurt me. I asked if they would work with us on a smaller number of visits initially, and was told no. Then they rushed my husband out and wouldnt let him stop to feed our son. I do not call trying to charge a "deductible" on a supplemental plan thar has a zero deductible "accepting" her insurance. If during the course of treatment a mon-medicare accepted procedure could be explained and decided on beforehand. Mu wife presented her insurance credentials the first day. BEWARE:My Husband pulled his back so I made an appointment where they did the initial imaging. We both went in the following day for the consultation with the Dr. Jordan Carroll who explained my Husband needed over 12 months of Torque release treatments to correct his problem at over 1500.00 cost. Didn't seem right so I made an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon who said he only had mild inflammation which was corrected with 14.00 worth of prescriptions and a 25.00 Physical Therapy session. I wish I would have taken the time to read the reviews before calling for an appointment. I have been seen by 3 different chiropractors over the last 15 years. Never have I had an experience like this. I called hoping to get an appointment for an adjustment for an existing issue. One that flares up occasionally and is usually helped by adjustments. The doctor himself answered when I called and was nice enough to fit me it. This was today, a few days before Christmas and they would be closed the next week. I was relieved to get an appointment hoping for relief with the upcoming holidays and with most businesses being closed. After waiting for 30 minutes and having some "assessments" performed, which were some type of thermal scans, the doctor stepped in greeted me and after a minute of conversation said "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, if I don't see you again before then.". This threw me off because I thought I would be seeing him very soon, like in a matter of minutes, for an adjustment. Nope. When the assistant came back in to go over my scans, she said something about scheduling my follow-up, after he viewed my assessment results and x-rays (which I had not yet taken). I was completely surprised because never have I ever had an appointment with a doctor and they wanted me to return for a second visit before they actually saw me. I was so mad. I wasted my time sitting there having these "assessments" to tell me something that I already knew and not get any relief. I will not be going back. Some of these responses amaze me. Yes they have to do an X-ray and evaluate you before they treat. No, results don't happen overnight as it usually is from long term wear and tear on your body that caused you to come in. Dr Jordan is definitely kind and truly cares about his patients and seeing them get better. I was scheduled to have back surgery but tried this instead. Staff and doctor are fantastic. Problem is they won't let you pay as you go and I asked about this over the phone before I made the appointment. The phone staff did not mention that even when I asked. Also, don't count on adjustment at your first appointment. Dr Jordan needs time to review the xrays before giving you the treatment plan he suggests. After 90 minutes of waiting, begging to get adjusted same day as initial appointment and being seen, I learn they want you to set monthly payments over a period of a year and will not adjust you unless you agree to this monthly payment plan for the recommended treatment plan. I understand they set this payment plan so you are more consistent with care. I've seen chiropractors since the age of 3 (I am 40 something now) and have not been asked to make monthly payments for treatment other than the affordable The Joint Chiropractors. The monthly payment for my treatment is absolutely unaffordable especially when my family of 4 all need chiropractic care. Even with the 20% family discount it is still not affordable. Makes me sad bc Dr Jordan seems really great. Dr Jordan did say that if you decide to terminate treatment, they only make you pay for the treatments you received before termination. Still, I would love to pay for each appointment at the time of appointment which they say is not possible. Expect to make payments when you go! Went there for an adjustment but didn't happen. First appointment was to get you to do an XRay & a test with a device going up & down your back. All this cost $81+ charge to insurance. Second appointment was to go over the XRay result & consultation etc. They want me to commit to a 12 month plan that cost over $1600. No thanks, I just need a few simple adjustments and not a year long. Waste of time & money. As a medical professional, I believe in the benefit of chiropractic care. However, I was disappointed with my experience at Invictus Chiropractic. My insurance covers 12 adjustments at $5 a piece. I called prior to my appointment to see if they take insurance. They do, but they will still make you buy their yearly plan. Rather than starting my care, they tried to lock me into a $1350 yearly plan. Listen, I've worked for a chiropractor. I know adjustments work, but I also know that they are expert salesman. Bottom line, I left. I found someone nearby who will bill my insurance, work with my treatment, and feedback, and try not to scam me. Seems like several people got the same sales job I did. Sadly, not everyone with back pain deserves a one size fits all solution with the same frequency of treatment. Someone else got my business and my patient referrals. read more
