I showed up Thursday Dec 1st for a COVID, flu and strep drive thru test…read more As I'm about to drive off a woman comes out and says there is an issue with my insurance. She mistakenly typed in the wrong numbers and I left. I received message from my Spruce app acknowledging my visit 5 mins later. Around 20 mins later my test results showed Negative on all test. Friday, Sat, Sun goes by. Sunday night I have a 102.2 fever, tons of congestion, I can't breathe, head is throbbing, light hurts. I go back Monday to go get tested for COVID once again because I know sometimes test come back negative if it's too early. Get tested Monday, December 6th only decided to do the COVID testing. Take test and leave. I did not get the usual acknowledgment message from the Spruce app so knowing their was a issue previously I decided to call to confirm everything was fine. I call, a nice receptionist answers. Puts me on hold to make sure everything was fine. She gets back on the line and ask me if anyone told me that my strep test from 12/1 was POSITIVE. I double checked my app and it all showed NEGATIVE. She said the test get sent to a lab for further confirmation and they confirmed it was positive. I asked if a Strep will cause a Fever. She said "Yes, if it's untreated." 4 days have passed by leaving me UNTREATED because your company does not have the courtesy to CALL me to tell me my test came back positive. I was the one to call them or a completely unrelated reason to find out a test result from 4 days ago was positive. I'm extremely upset. The infection has traveled to my sinuses and my teeth are aching. I've exposed my children and family to strep assuming it was allergies. My children are now coughing and showing signs of it like I was in the beginning. I went earlier so I would be able to identify the issue and protect my family but due to their lack of customer service and timeliness now I'll have twin toddlers with Strep for Christmas! Thanks for nothing Genesis!
