    Food court

This mall is incredible huge. This mall makes me feel like I am walking inside a cruise ship. The food court is incredibly huge, it has many different restaurants inside. The people are very nice, they even gave me advices where to go, and what to do around the area. There are many shopping stores inside the mall. There are many restaurants inside the mall also. The food court also has a huge television and a small pool with many chairs/ tables for you to enjoy hanging out, taking pictures, getting food. If you are visiting and are near the area, you should come and check out this mall.

Beautiful shopping centre, love the deisgn and details around the building. I always get lost around but with so much detail and decorations I like wondering about in the centre. I'm not from Manchester so I'm speaking from being unfamiliar to the city Can be hard to enjoy your time as it is always packed when I go and can feel frustrated and claustrophobic, so not ideal place for shopping if you like to take your time and relax. But good place to go with friends as you'll enjoy your time. Share taxi fare since it's far from city. I hear it takes long with bus so I'd recommend share fare with friends

I love the Trafford Centre especially at Christmas time, its a huge place with shops galore from the top range shops like Selfridges and John Lewis to loads of fashion shops. It has a huge food court-the orient which is designed to be like a cruise liner and has many eateries from low cost to high end. There is also the Barton Arcade which is accessed across a covered walkway which has all the home shops like Next and M&S. There is also a odeon cinema complex with an IMAX screen. There is also free parking throughout. But make sure you get here early as it does get very busy around lunchtime and at Christmas time. If you don't have a car like ourselves you can get there on the bus or the metrolink shuttle. i love how everything is in one place and all under one roof. It has a lovely atmosphere and all the staff are willing to help, they even have free wifi throughout!

I really really really dislike the Trafford Centre, and always have. My only reason to go there is the Apple Store, but even that isn't much of a reason now that there's also one in the Arndale Centre. Unfortunately I was convinced that it might be worthwhile attending the Boxing Day sales here in 2007. Big Big mistake. It was nigh-on impossible to park (there were no spots left, so you had to drive around in circles for an hour or so hoping to luck upon a space - thankfully I wasn't driving). Then when I got inside the place was so busy that you couldn't move. It was a terrible experience. To be fair it's not normally like that, and you can normally find parking really easily. That doesn't make me like the place any more though. It's full of the same shops that you can find in Manchester city centre, but more expensive. Wow. I'd go to Cheshire Oaks Outlet Village 99 times out of 100 over this place.

    A must have from selfridges!

So many shops!! It's a shopaholics paradise! Theres a huge variety of shops available, with 10000 free parking spaces and regular busses. The food court is massive with fast food restaurants downstairs and sit down restaurants upstairs. Champagne bars, pizza places, noodles...the list goes on. Add this to the 20 screen cinema, games arcade, bowling alley, sealife centre and legoland, there's really no reason to ever leave!

I work next to the Trafford Centre which is both a curse and a blessing. A blessing when you have forgotten it's your friend's birthday the next day, a curse when you wander over to window shop....or rather shop shop. This place has every shop you could think of, a decent amount of restaurants and a selection of fast-food shops. Admittedly the décor is rather strange including painted skies and roman pillars however I it kinda grown on me. I like the fact I can do my shopping in some kind of huge Disneyland shopping centre, its more interesting than the staff canteen.

Trafford Centre is huge - HUUUUUUUUUGE - but also in the middle of absolute nowhere. By the time you get there, you're exhausted. Oh, but wait, now I have to battle 3285097 people and queues and all those people IN queues? Bah. Came once and once was more than enough for me.

Of all the shops in Manchester and all the streets that carry the same shop names, Trafford Centre offers something different for those who can or cannot drive. With buses running from Manchester town centre straight to the Trafford Centre, there is no excuse not to visit. As a Manchester lass, I appreciate the Trafford Centre for having everything under one roof and more! Its clean and free from rain, you do not walk into people and most of all the restaurant quarter is fantastic. Beautifully built, and absolutely massive, the restaurant quarter holds your typical fast food chain on the ground floor to lovely restaurants on the first floor. There are lots to choose from. So after you have had lunch you can take the kids to lazer quest or bowling, or dodge cars which is in a huge Arcade centre. Or if you want to watch a film, go to the Odeon cinema in the middle of the Trafford Centre to watch all your new films! The shops are aplenty and a lot larger than your typical high street store. Not only that everything is under one roof so it is much easier to shop for Christmas presents or anything really. I go to Trafford Centre more or less every few weeks and I am still not bored with it. Whoever says it is, has obviously not visited properly. So in defence of the Trafford Centre, this is the best shopping place in Manchester!

This place is just amazing it's the best shopping centre I've been in besides the American outlets. Everything you need is right in this building. We came here at 12 in the day and left at 10 in the night. I love it mostly because there's a Victoria secret store with all the perfumes and sprays. Then there is Victoria Pink which has the gym gear and PJs. It's pricey but we can't get them in Dublin. The food hall is like a boat in the night time you sit on the deck and the roof is painted like clouds it's unbelievable. Amazing food choices over ten restaurants and also a five guys burger stall. I had some type of Japanese street food was good. We stayed right across the road so could shop loads an drop bags off to shop some more again! If your in Manchester worth a visit even for some dinner. Check out the china town upstairs :)

It is located just off Junction 2 of the M602 motorway and is quite close to Trafford Park and Old Trafford and even the Lowry Outlet mall, all around one or two miles away. There are a few big names here such as Home Bargains, WHSMITH, Subway and The Carphone Warehouse, still the retail park is only small compared to others, it still is quite decent, quite satisfactory however nothing more than that, I'm sorry to report. It is also a shame this retail park doesn't seem to be making a name for its-self to make it more of a place to visit, through not having a website, there are numerous fast food chains here, as I recall there is both a Subway and a Mcdonald's, two of the largest fast food chains in the world which seem to always not be far from each other, where you can often find them in the same complex. There is also quite a large "Range" store here but that's about it really. The location of this retail park is interesting, with so much around it so it probably isn't the best place to go and shop but still it is quite nice and I do feel it has done enough to earn at least a high two star rating.

And you'll be surprised by how little money you spend (partly cos it's mostly bargain shops and partly due to lack of good shops). It has charity shops - the best one here being British Heart Foundation who are happy to take donated stuff and has a high turnover of preloved clothing. My favourite shop here though, is Quality Save. It's a nice spacious one with cheerful staff and constantly updated stock, perfect fit browsing before hitting the new Pure Gym that opened in spring this year. There are the essentials - a Superdrug, Boots, WHSmiths (which house the Post Office), Specsavers, Tescos, Holland and Barrett, Iceland, and Greggs - yes, the newly redecorated cafe-style Greggs! If you live in the area and don't know how to drive, I'd recommend a visit the mall. It's slowly changing - new cheap chains are opening there - a Pep and Co this year, Aldi next Spring, and a slowly updating market hall with lots of room and potential to house some pop ups. It gets three stars for now, four when Aldi opens and five when they push the closing time to 7pm or even 6:30pm. I have hope.

This precinct used to be a bustling shopping mecca for the people of South Manchester. The market was packed full of bargain stalls and every teenage girl would flock there for their next outfit. There was a busy McDonalds, a great cut price sports shop and the Post Office which is now a dying breed, was an important factor for Stretford folk. No Arndale centre is complete without the obligatory Ethel Austin and Au Naturel and although Stretford Mall had its fair share of young mums pushing prams of toddlers eating meat and potato pasties, the general vibe was one of office workers on their lunch breaks, pensioners on their days out and regular people rushing around Tesco to do their weekly shop. Move forward five years and the Credit Crunch has decimated this place. McDonalds jumped ship, Woolworths met its untimely end- R.I.P Pick n' Mix- and the Post Office was obliterated, ending up in the less salubrious W.H.Smiths where queues are endless. Dorothy Perkins has run away with Au Naturel, Sommerfield became Quality Save and the market is a ghost town. Quite sad really and for those without a car, it is a real loss. It is now an underprivileged abandoned town of closed units and empty parking spaces and it is only a matter of time before I can see the whole place shutting and being turned into the biggest Primark in the world. Stretford Mall can change its name but it cannot change its fate and I would not go there unless I absolutely had to.
