My rating is 3.5 stars…read more I was at Chapters briefly. I would say ten minutes. It's a record for me in a bookstore. I drove from Markham to Peterborough to visit my friend and attend the first annual Peterborough Veg Fest. Well, when you visit a Starbucks before you leave and drink a grande beverage, chances are that your bladder will be screaming at you roughly 1.5 hours later. I needed to get beer for my friend as a housewarming present. This Chapters is in the same plaza as the LCBO. So, I parked, dashed into Chapters, found the washroom, and all was well. I came out, glanced at the items in the relaxed Starbucks section, quickly looked at all the magazines, and left. Beer was calling! I would like to go back and do a more thorough review. All I can say is that the washrooms are nicely kept and patrons are friendly. I had a nice conversation with a woman while we were both washing our hands. (199)

This is a nice hang out spot, either by just going yourself or with friends. It's nice to browse…read morethrough selections and find that perfect book just for you. The Starbucks is a welcome addition and helps provides a warm, cozy relaxed atmosphere. I have found several discounted books I have bought here and I really like the computers you can enter in books you are looking for, makes searching in this vast arena of books so much easier. The staff are great if you need help finding a book as well. I appreciate the customer service here as I always can find an eager staff member to help me if needed.
