Seth is a jerk. He catered our wedding because he's the exclusive caterer for Garden Grove Event Center. We did a tasting with him. That's the only time we met him in person. The tuscan chicken was great, and the mashed potatoes were good. He spent the whole time trash talking the owner of the venue and our cake baker, though. We asked for the potatoes to be more garlicky. He said he would, but they were the same day of. The apple cider pork tenderloin was bland. I wish I hadn't paid for it. There was supposed to be enough for everyone to have some of everything, but many guests told me they thought they had to choose. Seth was supposed to supply hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour and food beforehand for the wedding party. He tried to double his prices without saying anything 3 weeks before the wedding. He just sent an invoice saying it needed to be paid immediately. I called him because we already had a written contract stating that the amounts wouldn't change by more than 10 percent. He wouldn't answer my calls, so I had to have the venue tell him to call me. When he did, he started screaming at me, "If you're too broke, don't f*#%ing order it!" We ended up having to find another caterer last minute to drop off a charcuterie board the night before, because we didn't have any other options. He never said another word to us, but he did add a 20 percent gratuity without our permission even though we were already paying a gratuity to the serving staff through the venue.
