Visiting Florence several years ago we decided to take the bus up to the village of Fiesole. From…read morethe central square we could not get a good view of Florence and a local suggested we walk up Via San Francesco and that the breathtaking view would be worth the walk. Just before walking onto the observation area there was this little leather shop. A father and son owned it and claimed the made their items there. Many of the items were made of pieno fiore - the super-soft Florentine leather, often natural tan in color. My wife bought a shoulder bag that she will enjoy the rest of her life.
