I asked a question to the seller who answered me right away with a link to their actual website which features the full size of the urn I loved. Unfortunately for me though, this was during the pandemic and shipments were severely delayed, and the urn I wanted was backordered for months. I decided that I had waited all this time to find the urn that was just right for my beautiful Mom, so I would wait. Adam kept in touch with me throughout the process letting me know what was happening on their end, and he did everything he could to get my urn to me as soon as possible. We actually decided to order several smaller urns for the rest of the family as well, and Adam gave us a bulk discount for the trouble of having to wait for the backordered urn, which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend At Peace Memorials to anyone, anywhere looking to purchase a beautiful urn at a fair price. Thank you again Adam, you made a very difficult process as smooth as possible.

She has razor burn so severe that we had to put a cone on her to prevent her from constantly licking herself. What became very worrying was that she has not eaten much, drank very little, and has not peeped or pooped, and just lies there at home for the past 24 hours, refusing to move. We tried speaking to the manager, Daniel, when we bumped into him at the vet, and he said "1 sec" and never got back to us. Eli (business owner) followed up while our dog was getting a x-ray to explain to us that they didn't do anything wrong and that they are not liable to pay for our dog's care, even though we never indicated in any way that we wanted them to. No matter what, a dog who has never had any issues with grooming, should not be in this state after a sanitary trim. And no mater what, someone should have communicated to us what had happened. After what has occurred and the way the whole situation was handled, we no longer feel safe or OK leaving our dog here. Longer version with more details below. ---- I am as level headed as they come. Feel free to look at my profile, all my reviews are only 4 and 5s (And have been leaving reviews on Yelp for over a decade), and don't believe in leaving negative reviews, as I don't like the idea of negatively affecting someone's business. I've decided to break my rule, because there are some clear issues with Dog and Bone's grooming services. Our dog gets monthly grooming, and has never had a single issue. We decided to give this D&G a try rather than our usual spot, because our initial first impression was so positive, and wanted to give them more business. But after leaving our usual instructions that we've given to every other groomer, when we received our dog, she could not stop licking her vulva. We would walk a few steps and she would start licking herself. Until finally she refused to walk anymore and I had to carry her the rest of the way home. At first I thought she was just not comfortable with the sanitary trim (which also has never happened before), but when I got home and wiped her down in that area there was BLOOD. My belief is that she was nicked and has red bumps, which looks like razor burn. I am unsure, because no one has bothered to communicate to us that anything happened. It was terrifying not knowing what had happened and needing to guess. Not only did the groomer not follow our directions, but our dog was hurt, and still not herself. Following our arrival home, for 24 hours she has refused to eat, drink much water, and keeps on trying to nip/lick herself, and refuses to move. We sent Daniel two emails documenting everything with pictures, videos, etc. We took our dog to an Instavet next door (same owner) and she continued to not eat or poop, and bumped into Daniel when we tried to speak to him he told said us 1 minute and never bothered to return. While our dog was getting an x-ray Eli (business owner) called us and awkwardly tried to suggest that the issue did not occur at day care or grooming, and was trying absolve himself of any wrong doing, which we did not understand, until he got to his point about not being obligated to pay for our dog's vet bill. We are deeply worried about our pet's well being, and to call us while our dog is at his vet to try and absolve themselves of any wrong doing made us so angry, due to his cold and uncaring tone. Holy crap, I could not believe what I was hearing. All we carried about was the well being of our dog, and the call just made us feel worse. We have sent our dog to dog and bone club multiple times a week for the past month. They have completely lost our trust. Accident can happen, I can be understanding of that. But the severity, not communicating, trying to tell us that they're not liable to pay for our dog's vet bill, when we made no indication that we wanted them to pay in any shape or form, is not acceptable. Collectively, my wife and I have spent 13 hours at the two vets this weekend, and nearly ~$800 dollars thus far in trying to diagnose and address an issue that happened on their watch, on top of a $50 sanitary trim. Stay away, don't risk it. There are plenty of other places to go to in LIC. I will leave things off with a positive in that Sarah at the front desk is kind and super nice.

This place will make you feel like your baby died all over again, avoid them at all cost…read more I want to share my experience that took place today. I scheduled a visitation at 11 AM for my best friend of 12 1/2 years. After taking care of the payment and paperwork I was led to the visitation room, The moment I laid eyes on the deceased I turned and said that's not my dog to which I was met by that's not possible, I tapped my phone and said this is Eli that is not. I was left in the room with the unknown deceased dog until I went outside to collect myself. I was then told they were on the phone with the vet to figure out where Eli is. They finally said Eli was there but due to human error Eli was already cremated. I was supposed to see my best friend for the last time today, Instead I was traumatized for life and will never know who I actually brought home. I am disabled and unable to work Eli was my heart and world instead of seeing my best friend and kissing his head for the last time I will always question whether or not it was my baby I brought home. Final gift you should be ashamed of yourselves it feels like my baby boy died all over again today. Just so you can see this is my handsome boy that you stole the opportunity from me to say my final goodbye, this was my best friend, the damage you did is immeasurable.

Charged me $707 and told me about 1.5 to 2 weeks to receive. They actually called me in 2 days! This was strange to me that it was so fast but I was grateful. When I picked my dogs remains and items to find my dog's name incorrectly spelled. Long story short they assured me it would be corrected. NOW they lost my dog's print. None knows where it is.... Are you kidding me. I'm devasted over the death of my dog and they cant get it right. They seriously don't give a shit and now I question what's really in this box because of all this. I want a refund, they won't. THEY HAVE NO IDEA of the crazy bitch I am, and will become. The pain of loosing my dog makes me stronger. She did not rush through and was gentle with our cat and with us. Paws at Peace offers some extras (a paw print and a bit of fur in a little jar) in addition to cremation options. I initially thought these things were silly but I am glad we got them. It was easy to make the arrangements. We called at 8 AM and got a same day appointment. We got a text of the expected time and an update when there was a very slight delay. We got a follow up text the next day, with an offer for grief support. This is a well run organization. They know what they are doing. Best of all, they did not cause any additional grief to what was already a very sad day.

Dr. Fragola so thoroughly and empathetically captured the roller coaster I had been on for the past five weeks, and I finally felt certain that it was the right time to end my cat Claudette's suffering. After submitting an online inquiry at night, I received a phone call less than twenty minutes later. From that first conversation through the thoughtful "how are you doing" follow-ups, Paws at Peace's compassion, understanding, and professionalism were authentic and unmistakable. Dr. Jennifer Lander came to our home the next day and could not have been kinder. She was patient, gentle, and genuinely interested in learning about Claudette and her life with us--later reflecting those details in a heartfelt sympathy card. The process was unrushed and deeply respectful. I will always remember the salmon paste she brought as a final treat; Claudette went crazy for it, and it's a fond last memory with our precious girl. This was the hardest moment my husband and I have faced together so far, but Paws at Peace made an unfathomable experience as peaceful as it could possibly be. I am deeply thankful for their care and cannot recommend them highly enough.
