****CAN YOU SAY BAIT AND SWITCH?****…read more Watch OUT for these Auto Zoners and some of their misleading product searches! Had the battery in Grand Caravan checked. Female staff said "Battery Bed"....with zero explanation why. Showed 88% CCA.....but then one of her regular customers came up and that was that! I pulled up the vehicle make, model, and year----AutoZone.com showed me: Econocraft Battery BCI Group Size 75DT 650 CCA 75DT-E Part # 75DT-E SKU #811868 3 month warranty -------------------------------------for $89.99--------------------------------- (plus refundable $5 core charge). When I called Nampa Auto Zone employee said "correct" battery was -------------------------------------$189.99.----------------------------------- ******Can you say BAIT and SWITCH?******* Then he denied the battery I found on THEIR WEBSITE---and finally washed his hands by claiming stores have no input on their own corporate website! Think of this when shopping for auto parts!!! Maybe my battery is actually good? Bad Auto Zone!

I bought a battery at this place near the end of November 2022. Starting about six months ago, the…read morebattery was showing weakness in starting my 2000 VW Jetta. I don't drive much, so I thought perhaps there was something draining the battery. I took the car to Sterling to have them check out the battery, since it was scarcely two years. The technician ran a series of tests that revealed the battery wasn't in the greatest condition, but that there didn't appear to be anything draining it. He then told me I just need to drive more! Today, with a temperature of 11 degrees, the battery wouldn't even turn the engine over. It had only been one day since I took the battery in for tests. The technician was nice enough, but the old man in the office, perhaps the manager or owner, wouldn't stand behind the product. I will not go back to Sterling Battery and recommend you don't either.

A week ago I took my car and to have some work done cuz my all-wheel drive light would not stay on…read more They called me that evening and said it needed new battery. Never heard from him again till Friday when I called and asked if my car was ready and they said yes it had been. And I wouldn't be able to pick it up until after they close. So I paid for it over the phone when I got in my car after I started it. First thing I did was push the all-wheel drive button. It didn't work. It just went out. So I left a review and I left the voicemail the following Monday. Kevin called me and said that they would like to make it right with me including giving me a loaner but they didn't have one right now. As soon as they got one they would make it right for me. Here it is Thursday and I still haven't heard anything from him

What can I say except unreal service and exceptional people!…read more My family and I rented a camper van on our way through Nevada and onward to DisneyLand for my daughter's spring break trip, and traveling through Wells, Nevada we suddenly broke down on a very fast and windy stretch of HWY 93 (possibly the worst place to break down). After calling in a tow truck back to Wells, feeling like our trip was ruined, we got word that a team of mechanics were en route with another replacement van and were going to repair the original van in order to get themselves back home. By the next day we were on our way and feeling renewed on our adventure! The Hop Shops service was expedient, friendly (helped me switch all our many things and gear to the new van), and very good mechanics as they fixed the van on the go! Our family got to know these great folks during our time together and we can confidently say these are great people that care. Obviously our experience with The Hop Shops service was a great one when we needed it most! Highly recommend! 10/10!
