The battery is tucked in the back of the engine compartment halfway through the firewall. I simply couldn't get to it. So, I went to my friendly neighborhood O'reilly's on Arapahoe St. and Peter looked over the situation and says "I can do this." He had to work out in the parking lot with a cold September wind blowing and dismantled a large section of the battery box and front end trim. In ten minutes he had the old battery out and in 5 minutes had the new battery in. (Be advised, I had already been told by two other auto parts stores that it couldn't be done and I should take it to the dealership.) Well done, Peter at O'reilly's on Arapahoe St. Lincoln, Nebraska. When I arrived this time, the customer service was just as excellent as I remembered. The staff was awesome, and Ryan in particular helped me find the right bulb and even installed it for me in the parking lot. It was a quick, painless 15 minutes before I was back on the road in great condition. It was refreshing to get help with exactly what I needed without being pressured to buy anything extra--no pushing new windshield wipers or car fresheners, and no gimmicks for things I didn't need.
