If I could mark zero stars I would. Do not rent from this place!…read more I'll save you the details and lay out the issues I encountered: 1) they almost put me in the wrong bindings for my boots. Their actions suggest they would rather be wrong than admit they didn't know (or didn't have) the correct ski/binding set up. 2) I specified the approximate width I wanted underfoot And i was told no, you don't need that. Well if I was only staying on piste that would be true but that was not my plan. It's not like I was asking for anything crazy. 98 underfoot would have been a great all mountain width for on and off piste. Instead I ended up with some carvers good for groomers but horrible off piste. 3) And most important ***. As I was carving a turn going pretty fast I realized I had released from my ski. Not good. Fell tweaked my shoulder. I own that I had inadvertently entered the wrong weight (As an American...who is dyslexic) I miss calculated my weight into kilos so the DIN was set low for my skiing ability. Totally my fault. What was horrible though was how this was handled. When I returned the skis I suggested it would be great if they check when they are setting people up. It was a pretty obvious error. (I worked in a rental shop- doesn't take anytime, as you are getting gear ready to ask the person their height and weight and make sure it is the same as the paperwork .. easy. But no I was told they are too busy to do that. And as I was leaving he literally yelled across the store "it is your fault! Not ours!" - Chalking this up to cultural differences would be insulting to Austrians. These guys are flat out arrogant and irresponsible. Proceed at your own risk!!!

In addition, there is an extensive children's department and locally-made housewares selection. The main store is in downtown Lech. In winter, the Strolz family runs a ski rental shop across the street. There is also a smaller branch in Zürs. Strolz is pricy, even for Lech-Zürs, but if you're looking for selection, impeccable service and quality merchandize this is the place.
