Getting even a good iPhone picture can be difficult! That said, after being a little disappointed with my daughter's six-month photo shoot results, I went in search of a new photographer for her nine-month/family session. Luckily for us, we found Tony. He impressed me from the beginning with his responsiveness and the instant willingness to do an outside photo shoot in December. Tony has an amazing eye for detail and carefully explained how he wanted to set up the various shots. He has a way of making you feel at ease and like you're not posing. My husband enjoys photography as a hobby, and Tony was generous with his tips and tricks. The results were amazing! He was able to capture her little personality beautifully. The pictures really are pieces of art-his skill just shines through. His way of capturing the light and the colors is pretty incredible. We were both happy and thankful to have found such a great photographer who happens to also be a really nice person. Looking forward to working with him in the future.

He answered all our calls, emails and questions promptly throughout the whole process, from booking to receiving our final photos! During our session we discovered how very warm and clearly passionate he is about what he does. We would even go so far as to call him the "baby whisperer". We were so impressed with how gentle and patient he was in handling our 14 day old newborn girl and his ability to swaddle and calm her so adeptly. We were so grateful to have the professional detailed handout on what to expect during the session and how to prepare. It just made it so much easier for us to know how the morning would go and what we could do to make it as pleasant of an experience for our baby and ourselves. On the morning of the shoot he was exactly on time. For us new parents trying to balance preparing with everything from nursing, eating breakfast, getting ready, and twelve other things, it was so appreciated that he was neither early nor late, the timing was just perfect. Tony is nothing if not prepared, he came with his bag of goodies and brought a good variety of baskets, outfits, wraps, backdrops, and even professional lighting equipment for our shoot so that we would receive a variety of unique photos and poses. He even brought a custom travel themed backdrop and setup after we had mentioned how much how much we love to travel! He was very flexible and patient during our shoot and even extended the session since we lost some extra time due to changing, feeding and general fussiness from our newborn. The final images we received are gorgeous! You can see a few of our favorites here, but there are so many beautiful ones... it's hard to pick faves! Another great lesson on photographers work flows last night. Len started charging $10 just recently…read morefor what used to be free class offers. This was due to the large number of folks who signed up for each of his free class but failed to show up. There are a lot of flaky peeps out there who take up spots in class while others who really want to come to class and learn are put on the waiting list and do not get to come to the class. Charging a small $10 fee ensures only those who are serious about learning comes. And judging from last night, it worked! It is definitely worth every penny we paid as every time I learn something new and it does not make sense that he does not charge as he has bills to pay and he needs to make a living!! Now the class size is much smaller; there were only 6 of us last night, and each of us got to ask more questions and get more individual attention. Another great lesson on how to effectively manage your work flows starting from your camera to the organization and file structures on your computer. Most of us in class use Light Room so he focused more time on that. Len is definitely a great teacher and I especially appreciate that he takes the time to explain using examples and to make sure you understand each concept, as opposed to just rushing through his course materials without knowing if the class is really learning. (This is in contrary to another class I took at another guy's photography workshops.) He does not rush and is quite patient if the class is not getting it. He'll explain even in more details and using more examples. A couple months ago I also took his lighting workshop and learned about the basics of using strobe and even got some equipment from him for real cheap. I do not understand the one star rating from someone on Yelp. If you look around everyone gives a 5-star rating. What she described about Len does not sound like him at all. She must have got it on a wrong date, or went to a wrong address, or whatever. Note that once you get to the location, the door is sometimes close especially in winter time as the studio is cold. You can just go ahead and open the door as it is unlocked when he has a class. Len is a very nice guy and he has been in the photography business for at least 20 years. He knows how to work with and serve clients so this negative review looks very fishy. Anyway I found out he is going to teach a 6-week series on Light Room in which you will learning every module including the developing module. This is what I am looking for so I am looking forward to taking the class soon.

I've been going here as a model, working with different photographers, for years. I love the space…read morebecause there is a ton of different lighting options, props, a changing and makeup room separate from the bathroom, which is nice. Len and Scott are my favorite photographers there - they always make me feel welcome and confident, and perhaps most importantly, the pictures always turn out gorgeous. They are both super flexible and enthusiastic about any changes I want to make - they make me feel like I'm running the show! I have recommended the studio to my friends who have wanted to try modeling or just get professional shots done, and those that have gone have always been happy with their pictures.

After the wedding I added him on Facebook and WOW, I was blown away by the pictures he captured from that day. When it came to selecting a photographer for our wedding a few years later, Gary was at the top of our list.
