I have to ride down in search of internet and this would prove annoying at first and expensive, as many places didn't have safe parking nearby for your bike, closed early, had slow internet connection or were just plain expensive! The Surf & Call in Altona has to be the best little place I've found to cover all my internet needs. The connection is fairly fast, it's open till at least midnight and they don't charge you an arm and a leg either! Plus I can usually park my latest little bike right out front of the shop. Very happy... although of course I'd be happier with my own laptop!

Parents need a break and you don't suddenly stop doing coffee shops cause you have kids. Carlos coffe owners understand that and I'm thankful. Besides having a playground, it's an ordinary coffee shop in rather awkward location (bus stop is next to the entrance), offering average coffees and sanwiches. They also sell different coffee specialities, a lot of them are organic. It smells nice when they grind coffee for customers. Also selling qute a bit of wine and some food items.

Plenty of Seating with a large selection of coffee beverages displayed on it's boards…read more Larger then Hamburg-normal (TW) cup sizes... the coffee is a bit hit and miss depending on the barista, on a good day it's your basic well made coffee and on a bad day it's weak and burnt (I've been here a few times and have had both at some point.) It's in a good location though as it happens to be around the corner from the Internet cafe I predominately use. The staff are very friendly and speak English (for those of us who are German language challenged, lol) Not the best coffee but I'll keep coming here whenever I use the interest as it's convenient for me and I like to drink hot coffee while I waste time writing reviews like this for QYPE :-)

I often stop by here on the way to Schulterblatt on sunny summer evenings - you might as well start with a cheap beer if you're just going to be standing outside anyway! In addition to being a kiosk, they seem to sell mobile phones and they also have a collection of antique mobile phones - see the photo I uploaded!
