Bruno's is the biggest men's clothing, books & films company for gay community. There has five stores in Berlin. This probably the oldest one, located right next to the U-Bahn station Nollendorfplatz, aka the gay district of Berlin. As soon as you get off this station, where you find the rainbow Berliner bear, you find the store. The store itself is quite big, they offer lots of products, you can find men's clothing ( such as tank top, trousers, underwear and some more), photo books, novels, movies and something funny and sexy gifts. It's a shop made for gay men. Yes, I know some people might say "it's just because you are gay doesn't mean you have to buy something gay". But still great to have such store for the gay community. And there is nothing wrong to get something fun and gay for yourself. The important thing is you are happy about it. They offer free newsletter (or more like a catalog) every month, then you could alway be good informed. I like the whole concept of this store. It's really convenient find something here. If not, just ask the staff, they don't judge, really friendly and helpful. I do think it might requests at least 18 y.o. to walk in here. The price of the products here are generally pricy for me, usually I just come here for some movies and books that on sale. There is corner selling some funny thing. At least for me I found it funny and cute. Could be a good choice as a gift. Overall, I think Bruno's is fantastic. I am glad that there are stores like this for the gay community in Berlin. This store itself is really neat and thoughtful. There are seats for the customer sit down to read and fitting room inside. If you are just a visitor in Berlin try to explore the gay community, this is place surely you could get lots of infos. And you can have a picture with the lovely rainbow Berliner bear. Brilliant!

The designer/owner, Brit makes the most beautiful corsets I have ever seen or touched. She uses…read moremostly raw silk fabrics and the pieces are made to order (which is really the ONLY way you can get a corset that fits right). She has an overwhelming selection of fabrics and styles. She does things that remind me of baroque clothing (light colors and flowing silk fabrics) and some very romantic stuff with a darker side. They are not cheap, but as a person who once spent $100 on a pre-made corset which NEVER fit properly (it was slightly too big and the material was too flextible...eventually the boning started popping out even though I only ever hand washed it), it actually makes sense to spend more to have a corset that fits right and looks good, in the colors that you want. I imagine that most people will only ever buy one corset, like one beautiful bag or nice coat. so then it makes sense since it should last a lifetime. ---edit--- you may possibly need more than one in a lifetime. They are gorgeous! (: A friend of mine was visiting and thought this made a great souvenir. She made an appointment for the measuring and to pick the fabric/style/details and her corset was ready within 10 days so she could take it home with her. This shop is such a unique piece of Berlin fashion!
