His prices are stellar, he has old and hard to find parts available and will work very hard to find the one you might need. Are you used to Fox Chapel or some other fancy-pants marina? Well, then Bill might not be your cup-o-tea. Are you a real Pittsburgher who enjoys a good chat and some blue collar service, then this is absolutely your spot! This rental booth is…read moreoperated by Kayak Pittsburgh, a specific project that's part of the Venture Outdoors nonprofit group. Aspinwall is their 3rd Kayak Pittsburgh location in the area (with other locations on the North Shore and in North Park). With plenty of free parking available at this little park, you normally just have to show up and pay for your kayak. (Note that during 2020, an online reservation is required due to the popularity of their kayaks and because they need to control the number of people in the area at a time.) You'll be provided with a life vest and paddle after checking in. The staff will also answer your questions and provide tips on kayaking if you need them. They'll then help you get your boat into the water, where you can paddle at your own pace and enjoy the scenery. I do want to mention that because this is a river location, you'll want to keep the strength of the current and any wind in mind as you paddle along the Allegheny. You may find yourself working harder in one direction or another depending on what the current and wind does during your visit. So give yourself plenty of time to get back to the launch point, and be careful about overexerting yourself early on. Other tips from this regular kayaker are: bring PLENTY of water; don't forget your sunscreen and a hat; bring a waterproof bag for your valuables; and consider investing in some sports gloves so that your hands don't get too sore or blistered paddling. Do those things, and you're sure to have a blast during your time on the water!

We chose the station square location. We arrived 15 min early and were able to board. The weather was absolutely perfect. You could either sit or move about the tiki boat. There was actually more space than I thought there would be. Its also BYOB and food. We had packed a cooler of drinks and snacks. Our 2 hours on the boat was fantastic and I would love to do this again! Highly recommend!

The ASWP has four reserves: Beechwood Farms Nature Reserve in Fox Chapel, Buffalo Creek Nature Park in Sarver, Succop Nature Park in Penn Township, and Todd Nature Reserve in Sarver. The ASWP also operates a few nature stores as well as a native-plant nursery. The ASWP's website has a calendar that lists events such as educational nature walks to watch birds, monarch butterflies, moths, and dragonflies. So far, I have visited the Beechwood Farms Nature Reserve, which is the headquarters of the ASWP. The employees in the nature store spoke nicely to me, and the native-plant nursery contained a good selection of native plants at reasonable prices.

So I was up here killing time waiting on my wife and my daughters. Just typed in Gun range on my…read morephone and this came up and it was like half a mile away. The service wasn't bad the Gun that I was specifically looking for the gentleman who was talking to me, said that they don't have any, but yet there was three of them hanging on the wall as I'm talking to them. I'm actually looking at them. Price wise, a little expensive the shotgun that I was looking at was a Bonelli M4. They wanted $2100 as a sale price and when I went to Keystone, they wanted 1799 at regular price. They are a little more than most places I've gone to. And because it's a Friday night every lane is closed or in use. So I couldn't use the range and they wouldn't let me bring my side arm in because I didn't have a case for it. And I did not want to pay for a rental off them so I'm actually going to Keystone now which is half an hour away.
