At the turn, we went to go grab more food and drinks and were told they closed early "due to the heat" and "not enough people." No heads up was given to all the golfers who still PAID TO PLAY 18. We then went to the local party store to get food and drinks and upon returning were met with a rude teen who told us we couldn't return with the beverages unless we Venmo'd him $50. Disgusting behavior from management and the staff. Will NEVER GOLF HERE AGAIN.

We checked and the prior weather forecast had changed and heavy rain was expected for the remainder of the day. The manager refused to issue our group rain checks for the additional nine holes that we couldn't play. Another nearby course (Mistwood) closed for the day (Yes, I checked). We didn't understand or agree with their policy of not issuing rain checks. Some of the group vowed to never play there again. As for me, I won't even consider playing there if there is any chance of rain, whatsoever. Not a friendly course in that regard.

They were efficient and helpful and all went well with the exception that the Crystal River is a bit low in places and the one place where you have to portage across the road. Two crazy ladies did dunk into their kayaks to go through the culvert -about 6" of head space above the kayak. Nuts, but they made it. Anyway, the price was reasonable compared to what I saw for other places. When we got back, we realized that they have all this free 'game' stuff. Chess with 2' high pieces, antler ring toss, mini-basketball hoop, ping pong table, etc. Very busy time of year in town, but we were the only ones there. Small arcade area, a Lego table, nice swings for the parents to chill on. Went back the next night to play miniature golf. Ridiculously priced ($10/adults), but they do give a free ice cream for the winner of your group and prizes for hole-in-ones on two holes. It was poorly lit in places. Very challenging course. They guy working there disappeared once he got us started. Was kind of like walking through a ghost town when we finished. Helped ourselves to the ice-cream prizes. Yes, I won, again in case anyone is keeping score. They keep a tally of low scores by age group. Some of the younger ones clearly don't count all their strokes, so I guess it's on the dis-honor system.

I wasn't sure what I was expecting but I was very impressed with how clean and new everything looked. They have a LOT in a small space - 2 axe throwing lanes, 4 duck pin bowling lanes, arcade games (mostly claw games, a basketball game, VR, & motorcycle game), an escape room, and a bar. We were the first guests so it was nice to have the place to ourselves. Bowling was fun but it's pretty tight around the lanes - 3 tables set up near them, our group took up the whole space. We were disappointed to see the bar not open, so we had to walk to the bar on the other side of the lobby to get drinks. Since it really isn't an arcade that you can play games and win prizes or tickets, it was a disappointing for our little kids. Especially since there are a lot of claw games and they are hard to win - only 1 out of 8 kids won a prize (and all the adults were trying, too). It's a small space, so when it starts getting busy - it's cramped. Also, I would say it's pretty pricey. Lane rental was expensive for 1 hour, I notice how $$ the axe throwing was, too. It would have been nice if he could have called it in for me and had them bring it over to the Den. Kids get bored very quick. The bowling is just ok. You play 5 frame games, and it's like candle stick bowling. The pins are on strings. They do have ax throwing, that's fun. They didn't really suggest how to play or keep score, but it's still fun throwing an ax. All it all it's and ok place but they could improve it with some more care/attention/customer service.
