Performance to Date * As of mid-September, only a partial frame has been erected. * The majority of the project remains incomplete. * Lumber we purchased at Ryan's instruction has been left exposed for weeks, resulting in warped boards that are no longer usable. By any reasonable standard, these ruined materials are the contractor's financial responsibility. 3. Communication Failures * Numerous phone calls have gone unanswered. * Multiple text messages have been ignored. * Repeated requests for a construction schedule have been met with silence. * No proactive communication from Ryan has been offered at any point. 4. Breach of Contract * The contract specified a project completion date of October 1, 2025. Based on current progress, completion by this date is not possible. * By failing to begin work in a timely manner, and by allowing materials to deteriorate, Ryan has already failed to uphold his contractual obligations. * His refusal to communicate constitutes a further breach of good faith inherent in any business agreement. 5. Professional Conduct * Unreliable: Fails to appear as promised. * Unprofessional: Ignores basic communication. * Irresponsible: Allows client-purchased materials to be destroyed by neglect. * Untrustworthy: Makes promises he has no intention of keeping. 6. BEWARE of this scam artist. Bryan gave me different invoices that all equalled different amounts…read more the first invoice wasn't itemized so I asked for it to be the same way he sets up his estimates and when he did that, the amount was almost $1000 more. I asked for an explanation of the differences in price of the invoices and he wouldn't respond. I asked for a STAIN on my deck and he had his friends paint it and it was HORRIBLE. They got paint on my screen and my house. Just look at the pictures! I asked him to finish a room in my basement with texture and paint on the walls. I requested he use orange peel texture to match the entire rest of my house. the final project looks NOTHING like what I asked for. He also painted my ceiling different colors and got the wall color on my white ceiling. I asked for compensation because now I have to hire someone else to fix and he went back and forth with saying he wouldn't charge me to he changed his mind and is charging me. During this back and forth of me just trying to get my money's worth for what I paid for, he threatened legal action if I didn't pay. I asked for copies of the contract that I signed at the beginning of the project and he has ignored me and not provided me with the paperwork that I am legally entitled to. When I tried to use the yelp guarantee money back, he lied to them and said he didn't charge me for the paint or texture and wrote me an email saying I was abusing the system! He also posted pictures of my house on his Facebook page without my permission. Bryan will bully and threaten you and he does NOT know what he is doing. I wish I would've kicked him out of my house. PLEASE DO NOT make the same mistake I made.
