I do not believe this person should be mentoring young children. I'm concerned for the children involved in her care. All of the teachers at KidWorks genuinely care about and are deeply invested in the development of each child. They provide parents with daily check-ins, updates, and photos of the child's progress, as well as the activities they participated in that day. The daycare is cozy, cheerful, and impeccably clean, offering complimentary breakfast, lunch, and snacks to the children. The teachers go out of their way to include fun and educational activities in each day, such as outdoor play, bike time, painting, arts and crafts, music and dance, reading, and exploring topics like animals, plants, and the solar system. They even assist with potty training--my daughter became potty-trained largely thanks to the dedication of Ms. Rose and the other teachers. KidWorks also offers complimentary Parents' Nights Off, where the staff cares for the children on weekend evenings to give parents a much-needed break. During the holidays, the school truly goes above and beyond, organizing festive, holiday-themed activities and parties for the little ones to enjoy. I always felt like I was respected (even though I was young), supported, and given the supplies needed to teach the kids. The parents were awesome and til this day, I have a relationship with the now adult kids and their parents because of the environment and bond built within Small World Daycare. My daughter has been a child at the daycare since she was 6 weeks old! If I had to do it over again, I WOULDN'T CHANGE A THING! My daughter was ready from day 1 to start kindergarten. Ms. Heather teaches the kids Spanish, which still today she comes home trying to quiz me‍ and I love how the other teachers get involved in science (collecting bugs, frogs, growing beans), and helping the children with easy to do cooking activities! Speaking firsthand, it's been great for me and my child. No place is perfect, but if there is a problem, the front office staff is always willing to talk to ensure you have an understanding and get to a resolution.
