I can't say enough good things about Fun 4 Kids in Chiefland. We tried two different daycares before choosing this school based on recommendations from other parents in the area. We gave the first two daycares 2 weeks each. But when our son was still crying every morning we dropped him off, we moved on. Within two days of going to this school, our son no longer cried when we dropped him off. Within a week, we were lucky to get a goodbye hug from him. He couldn't wait to play with his new friends and teachers!!! And the teachers have all been wonderful. Very personal, compassionate, and genuine. The facility is very clean and secure. There is always someone at the front desk monitoring people coming in and out. The classrooms are full of toys and learning items. Our son is always coming home with arts and crafts he created that week. Our family is moving in two weeks and I wish we could take this school with us!!! It honestly feels like we are leaving family behind. Thanks to everyone at this school for taking care of our son and giving us piece of mind that he is in good hands.

Teachers show great concern and always speak to me at drop off and pickup. They greet the kids first of course. My child is in need of speech and as a mom I thought she would grow out of it. But that's not the way it works. Without them pointing it out she wouldn't be getting the therapy she is from her speech therapist. I'm very thankful for Fun 4 Kids 2

I worked in afterschool at SWDC for nearly 3 years while going to nursing school about 18 years ago…read moreand it was an excellent place to work. I always felt like I was respected (even though I was young), supported, and given the supplies needed to teach the kids. The parents were awesome and til this day, I have a relationship with the now adult kids and their parents because of the environment and bond built within Small World Daycare. My daughter has been a child at the daycare since she was 6 weeks old! If I had to do it over again, I WOULDN'T CHANGE A THING! My daughter was ready from day 1 to start kindergarten. Ms. Heather teaches the kids Spanish, which still today she comes home trying to quiz me‍ and I love how the other teachers get involved in science (collecting bugs, frogs, growing beans), and helping the children with easy to do cooking activities! Speaking firsthand, it's been great for me and my child. No place is perfect, but if there is a problem, the front office staff is always willing to talk to ensure you have an understanding and get to a resolution.

He has been with them since he was about 3 months old. And he is now 5 years old and in the VPK program. He absolutely loves all the students and teachers. And knows all their names and enjoys every second of every day he goes. He likes getting up in the mornings and going to see and learn with his friends. Any time anything has happened with Zachary, accidents or even a minor bumped knee, they have always kept me very well informed!! I would recommend Small World Daycare and Learning Center to anyone whoever asked my opinion on daycare and learning centers!!

    Angels In Arms

    Angels In Arms

What can I say about Angels In Arms? I know some things I cannot say, and that's anything negative…read more I heard that this was "the place" to get your baby into. And let me tell you, with the level of attention and care that your child gets, that's the God's Honest Truth. I was told that there is a year waiting list. If you are a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, you get bumped up the list. If you're a practicing Catholic with a note from your parish, you are above the walk-in public, but only by a smidgen. By the Grace of God, we got called a little over a month after we put our flesh and blood, the love of our life on the waiting list. It couldn't have come a day too soon. I used to pick my son up at DayCare and there were a number of days I could count on my hand when he wasn't there screaming his head off. I could also count the number of times (on all my fingers on one hand) that I found the babies at said DayCare shy of one care worker. Coincidence? I think not. Angels In Arms always has staffing to care for the babies and children. Many teacher help in the baby room if they are short staffed, and so, if you plan to keep your child in there, they have an opportunity to meet teachers they will have in the future. I hear their education system is amazing. I can honestly say I don't think my son would be as socially or milestone developed (for lack of a better term) if he weren't in Angels in Arms. Ms. Millie and Ms. Iris, his teachers in the baby room are two of the most loving women you will ever meet. My son actually reaches for them in the morning, and there is no screaming and grabbing onto Mommy or Daddy like you hear of so often from other parents. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Angels In Arms. If you can, send your child there. I can't imagine that you would regret it.
