Knowledgeable staff, who knew their product options well. And kindly helped me in English when I Struggled in German. Pricey for sure, but I am hoping it is better quality than the Chinese c**p which failed after just a few uses. read more

I recently bought a code free dvd player there (after going once a week, every week for 9 weeks) to see if any were in stock. NOTE: if you know a certain product is particularly popular, why dont you order more than 2 per week? Anyway, I finally found one, a floor model (which they never had before), so I snapped it up. It was missing the hdmi cable so they gave me 5% off the 69chf price only to find the hdmi cable cost 12chf. Do the math. For smaller appliances they are always 10-20chf higher than Fust which is right downstairs. I was also going to buy a coffee bean grinder for 39.95 chf but remembered that Fust is typically lower priced so I waited the 4 minutes to walk down and check Fust out. That 4 minutes saved me 20chf as I bought the same grinder for 19.95 chf. In summary good for TV bad for everything else.

I traded that MacBook pro for another one with 512 SSD, worked fine with the officially compatible docking station which apple itself sells on their website, 1.5 year after buying it it suddenly stopped working, I can no longer turn it on - I just restarted it after the USB port stopped working properly, as advised on the apple support site. Now I have to bring it to them because Apple only offers 12 months warranty by default; the remaining 12 Months are under interdiscount, and I cannot use my faulty laptop for work for more than 3 weeks as I was told That is the time it'll take to Repair it- I asked if I could bring it to Apple myself, where I could get it repaired in less than a week as I was told by Apple itself; they told me I could of course, but that I'd have to Pay for the fixing myself since I would not go through them. So not only they sell faulty devices, but you also have to suffer unexpectedly after some time and dealing with their sh*** service. DO NOT BUY FROM INTERDISCOUNT!

They call this the double XL store for a reason - it has 3 floors and loads of stuff including lots of 'one off items'

My case, I bought a projector that you can't test in the store so I ordered online and let it be delivered at home. I opened it to see the quality of image and it was not good. The price of the projector was around 1.800 franks and they made me pay 180 franks because I test the product. This is a big scam and a lie that you can return anything within 30 days without any charge. I will never buy anything again there.

I was looking for a new TV and I found what I was looking for. They have almost all TV brands except Sony. So if you're a Sony fan you better go somewhere else. The TV model I wanted was priced quite over what I had seen in a concurrent store. I mean a big difference 400 chf more. But they reduced their price to match the competition so at the end I was happy. One thing I find a bit ridiculous there are the prices for extra warranties. The competition are much cheaper on this topic so if you're the type of person who feel more secure with an additional warranty maybe this is not a store for you. Overall the service was very good, the sales man was not pushy nor arrogant. Even if he had to reduce the TV price to make the sale, he still had a smile in is face and was still very friendly. Another good thing about this store, they have most of the electronic devices in stock which is often not the case in other electronic stores.

They have new and gently used gear, clothes, and shoes- for Christmas or every day, this is the store to choose! I got new hiking boots for only 59 Franks, elsewhere was at least 200, for that I`m giving thanks! The snowshoe selection downstairs had new and slightly used, but not enough sizes from which I could choose. But I`ll totally come back, for warm or active wear, it`s just the coolest store with prices beyond compare!

The gear selection mirrors REI well, but there's a fuller clothing line, especially at the more casual end --- and I still haven't figured out the kid's fishing pool. A touch of Cabela's, perhaps? The staff is helpful, and will happily break out their (sometimes rusty) English if need be. We mostly shopped in German, but once you start looking for books in English the conversations tend to follow suit. Picked up a new hostel liner for hut-to-hut hikes, didn't find the book we hoped for, and figure I'll be back next time I need some ski gloves.
